I'm a professional wood cutter by trade and I cut large amounts of hard wood throughout the seasons. I thought to myself why not give a cheaper brand saw a go and see how they hold up to the bigger name brands such as husqvarna and stihl. Well let me tell you I'm far from disappointed I'm truly amazed. I could have saved a tonne of money in the past by buying these saws. This saw in particular is on par with a stihl 066. I dont see or feel any difference when comparing the two head to head on a cut. In fact I would go as far to say that the MTM is better all round than the stihl. And as for reliability over time, the same principal applys to this saw as too any saw, look after it. Keep it serviced, keep it clean. Maintain it on a regular basis and you'll have no ... What a great saw. Will pay for itself in the first use. It started up easily and I was cutting decent wood. I bought this saw because a friend recommended it after he bought his 4 years earlier. Highly recommended.

Unboxed chainsaw two days after it arrived (mid-May 2021). Assembled it as instructed by the on-line manual, filled with 2-stroke, added chain bar oil then nothing.Not even a hint of a kick-start (& yes the start switch was set to on).So sent this one back to Edison's and have asked for a refund or store credit as want something reliable from the get go.Hope they come good as now intend to buy a brand unit.Note, although purchased through Kogan as a reseller, have bought many things from Edisons in the past and most have been reasonable value and generally satisfactory,just need to be aware that quality may not be consistent.

I bought this a month ago, been using the system for high-end graphics as well as for a lot of other programs that need extreme high processing.The System responds very efficiently and is very fast. Well, room for future expansion like increasing memory size, SSD expansion is very kind like restricted, maybe of its size but contains a lot of items to support the product performance
Have used the Edison 72SX MTM saw for cutting quite a few ton now. This is absolutely excellent value. I had an expensive brand before, but just couldn't justify the replacement cost. This thing is near on as good. Starts easy, plenty of power, nice long bar, and the price was fantastic. I can certainly recommend this Chainsaw for general work around the Farm, and to compliment smaller saws. When you need to cut some bigger stuff, this one has the power to do it..
I've just ordered my third one. We use them on the farm for sapling clearing, cutting off below ground with the bar tips often in the dirt. Not normal usage and very hard on the saw so the chains/sprockets/bars wear out pretty quickly but the powerheads are awesome, never die and reliable starters (never had a pull start failure), plenty of power. At the price we replace entire unit when the bar/sprocket wears out. For normal non-commercial use, or if you need a cheap saw for dirty work 100% recommend. And excellent delivery service.
I found the MTM saw very compact in size and lightweight in regard to the power, 72cc. Very easy to assemble from package.. Easy to start with very clear guide to how to prepare to start saw. I found the carry bag seemed a little small, tight to fit saw into though. Tools provided with saw are very adequate for chain adjustments etc. Saw cuts extremely well in comparison to other chainsaws I have owned, very good on vibration.
Bought this for my husband, and was not disappointed. Great value, better than some bigger brands. Super easy start, 1st time, every time, Works hard, with no probs. His mate was so impressed, he bought one too. Would recommend this saw, this brand to anyone.
Collection process easy, assembly easy as per instructions and emailed video, follow up support excellent & quick. Worked without a hitch on first firewood cutting job!
Have only used it for a few days so far but seems to perform very well on green, smaller timber. Chain is of poor quality and dulled very quickly but in general I would recommend this saw for someone looking to do some cutting of green timber <300mm diameter. This saw would better match an 18" bar, it is not even close to the power of a stihl 72cc saw.
