I’ve tried a number of the MTR packaged products now to compare them to authentic Indian dishes. Obviously there’s a huge difference between making things fresh and premade packaged foods, but I would say that this is a pretty good version of Shahi paneer. It’s a very mild and tomato-based curry so feel free to add some spices to it. It also tastes great if you add additional vegetables and even chicken to make a dish similar to butter chicken. Overall these are easy to prepare in the microwave or on the stove top and are a pretty good alternative to making your own if you’re in a hurry.

Great flavour, easy to prepare. But just be prepared for ‘Indian Mild’ not ‘Kiwi Mild’
Absolutely delicious. But the paneer inside are too little. I always add more frozen paneer. Only certain NTUC outlet carting this, hopefully more outlets carrying this yummy butter paneer!
