After a 30 minute ride in humid conditions (e.g. before raining, so the dust does not swirl when ran over) the chain is completely black, gunky and grimy so one can clean it and lube again.The price for 120ml is acceptable but certainly not the economic choice.

I bought this sceptical that it wasn't going to be any different to the other wet lube Muc-Off do but this is so much better. Especially in the wet muddy climate, this stuff is perfect for keeping your transmission smooth and lubricated. In addition, the UV feature is amazing as It allows you to check if you properly oiled your chain after a wash. Furthermore, it comes with a Muc-Off sticker! Truly awesome!

I have been using this all through the wet weather last week and I am very pleased with how it has stayed on the chain. It also dries in well and doesn’t seem to flick off all over the back wheel. I applied it the night before so it dried in well before I rode the bike. They recommend 3 hours before you ride. A nice quiet chain and slick shifting as well! What more could you ask for?

While the lube initially seemed to do its job, I soon realized that it was impossible to clean or wash it from the chain, cassette, or drivetrain. The residue left behind by the lube attracted a lot of dirt and grime, making my chain and other parts of the bike even dirtier than before. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to get the lube off completely, even with heavy-duty degreasers and cleaning solutions. My silver chainring has a wonderful brown/black layer over each tooth...my chain is coated with the muddy dirt that hit the chain.Maybe I used it in "too dry" of a condition than what it is designed for, but man, I didn't expect mud and wet sand to stick to my chain like this.
Stays on and leaves the chain dry and clean. You need to really clean your chain first to get it to adhere to the metal properly. I uses gasoline then degreaser and finally mineral spirits to get it super clean and dry. However, it does wash off easily with the rain so in the winter you might try the wet version or supplement with another lube.
Only chain lubes i use on my bikes depending on the conditions are c3 wet and c3 dry . At the moment i'm on c3 wet . I find after applying and leaving it to dry/set as per instructions , it don't come off chain easily , it don't pick up much dirt ,and lasts a few rides depending where you ride. Can't really fault it. Not the cheapest out there , but if you look around can usually find a deal on it.
I've used MucOff products for a good few years now and after trying some of their other bike lubes this is the one I now use all year round on all my bikes.It is easy to apply and doesn't need re-applying too often. During winter I clean my bike after every ride and this wet lube will survive a good few cleans before it needs reapplying.At full price it is quite costly so I usually wait for Halfords to reduce the price and then stock up.As you only need a single drop per link a single bottle will last a long time.
