Vanilla: texture and flavour were a bit like gelato, had that little icy feel to it. Cookies: This was nice with a lots of cookie pieces. I would say almost more cookie that ice cream. Chocolate: I loved the flavour of this, Chocolate is not my usual go to, but this one was smooth and silky and delicious. Groovy Gumdrops: PHOW! right in the kisser! this one tasted like a bunch of "bubble o bill" bubblegum noses had been squished together. Bubblegum with jellies was just nasty. This review is very specific to this horrid flavour. My two teenage sons, myself and my wife all tried this monstrosity of an ice cream and could eat it. The flavour was wrong and jellies, well they should not ever put out in ice cream. But why then three starts, well there was three good flavours as the vanilla, chocolate and cookie pieces were all good and received a star each. 0 starts for the bubblegum and overall got zero stars also as we actually just threw away the remainder of the Bible him. So, would I but this particular pack of ice cream again, no chance. Will I give boysenberry a go, yep sure will. But only if it goes on sale as $11 is a lot for ice cream.

Just okay. The ice cream was just creamy enough. 2litres is $11. Four flavours in the tub. Vanilla ice cream and cookies n cream were okay. The chocolate ice cream was surprisingly good (I never eat choc-flavour normally!). The Groovy Gumdrops was green, I couldn't get past that's meant to be a peppermint flavour ;-) Anyway it tasted okay but that's all I could taste as it repeated on me for ages. My child only liked vanilla and gumdrop flavours, but NOT the lollies inside. Unfortunately not a repeat purchase for me, bit too pricey for something we only half like. Is there a reason we can't stock Golden North ice cream in Woolies NSW, an Australian product?

The best creamy flavour. These are hands down the best flavour combination. This brought meright back to my childhood having icecream with gumdrops. I have searched high and low but this product is no longer made however when I seen this I was so excited to try. It definitely hit the spot with creamy texture and the little burst of gummies for that added surprise. My kids loved it and the gummy flavour was the first to go. They need to make a whole tub just with this gummie drop flavour. It’s quite expensive so I wait until it goes on sale.

Variety. I love having options. It is great to be able to choose a flavour depending on my mood on the day, and having four children, being able to accommodate all their preferences. The ice cream is very creamy and each flavour is as good as the next. The bubblegum flavour is very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the picture on the front does not represent the bubblegum ice cream inside. There was much less gumdrop jellies. Either add more jellies or edit the picture to accurately illustrate the reality. I think the price reflects the quality.

Nice to try but wouldn't buy. Thanks bunch for giving me the opportunity of trying a very expensive icecream. This normally sells for $11 and I'm sorry to say I would not purchase. The vanilla was really lovely and creamy, cookie - not much taste at all, and as for the cookie pieces they are so tiny no taste to them, I would expect you would get pieces as large as the gumdrops - doughlike, but nothing like that. The chocolate was ok - mixed with the vanilla was lovely. The bubblegum with gumdrops wasn't that great either, gumdrops were large and not pleasant to eat when so cold, even though there isn't a lot of them. All in all for $11 I found it very disappointing, but really appreciate the offer.

As you can see in the picture above (sorry the kids got to it before I could take a photo) the way they had set the ice cream in the tub was a great idea, 4 corners with 4 different flavours. This ice cream got the tick of approval from my kids, but for me I found the groovy gumdrops flavour really sickly sweet, the cookies and cream was ok, the vanilla in some areas tasted like it had a hint of banana to it (maybe due to it being close to another flavour) and the chocolate was average in taste. We didn't find the ice cream to be creamy in taste, but it was an ok ice cream. This ice cream doesn't take long to soften which was a good. This is the first time trying New Zealand ice cream but we prefer the creamier tastes of ice creams made here ... MoreKids tick of approval! Yummy. This icecream was absolutely delicious. Four random flavours in one tub. Vanilla, chocolate, cookies and gum drop. Beautiful and creamy and had a wonderful smooth texture on eating. The green gum drop flavour was a subtle mint with some soft jelly jube Lolly inside. I wasn’t sure what to expect but these little jibes were just delightful I really enjoyed. Vanilla nice subtle flavour, chocolate was super creamy and had a nice chocolate balance and cookies was good too. Super impressed and can’t wait to go look out the other flavours next time. $11 price may seem expensive but in my opinion was worth it as was unique to anything else out there.
