I'm actually surprised by how much I like these razors.Up front there's the price. My local supermarket sells a pack of 10 Wilkinson Sword razors for $11. These things cost less than $6 a throw. Even if you chuck on the $10 shipping, it's still cheaper to buy 3 packs of these, delivered to your house than buy 3 packs locally. If you order enough or purchase with other items to get free shipping, you're miles in front. So if they're so much cheaper, they won't be as good, right? Wrong.Firstly, there's the packaging. No useless little cardboard package that throws razor blades all through your wet bag or cupboard. The little plastic container dispenses one razor on command, no more, no less and doesn't drop any out when you don't want it to.Secondly, there's ...Ā MoreI'm actually surprised by how much I like these razors.Up front there's the price. These are simply excellent based. Great stuff! I have been using these blades for years and it is great to see the Shaver Shop now have these in stock locally. I no longer need to send away for these to other retailers in Melbourne.

MUHLE is the only site to buy!

These blades are super sharp and if one lets the razor do the work there will be no disappointment. Smooth shave no matter how long I went between shaves. Quality blades for a reasonable price.

Probably not the sharpest in the world
26 May 2022

I think these blades are okay, but maybe a little inconsistent. The first one I got out of the pack was pretty sharp, but the second was barely sharper than the first was after it had been used for 5 or 6 shaves. Already snagged a bit on the first shave. I think they’re worth adding to the cart when you buy a razor, but I’ll probably explore other options when these are almost out.

Seemed pretty sharp and I have a very heavy beard.

When I first used this blade I was most impressed, however I could not get a complete second comfortable shave out of it. I just recently returned to DE shaving after a 40 years. I remember getting at least 5 shaves out of the old Shick, Gillette and Wilkinson; remembering the only one I could not get 5 from was The Personna, I have tried at least 10 different blades since returning besides this one including Sharp, Gillette, Feather, Wilkinson, Parker, Persona even a couple of store brands. Can anyone suggest a sharp long lasting blade, like the old ones?

Sharp, yet somehow "soft" at the same time.

These blades are by far my favorite among the brands I've tried. Comparing them to the Feather blades which many people know, I find the Mühle blades to be equally effective without the harshness of Feathers. With Feather blades, I can't go xtg or atg without a lot of bleeding, but the Mühle blades allow a comfortable 2nd or 3rd stage as long as proper technique is used. Great blades! Comfortable and effective.

Smooth, smoother, mill

I switched to a plane razor about 6 months ago. So far, I have tried system razors, electric shavers, one-blade and simply ā€œlet it growā€. I even used a razor once several years ago (14 days later I was able to leave the house again). As a result, I have to say that I am extremely satisfied. I use each blade three to four times per side. These blades even have a change indicator. Should I use the blade longer than necessary, the blade will leave small red marks on the skin (blood) as if by magic.Overall, I am 100% satisfied with the blades. However, they are also my first blades and I didn't dig through the extensive range.

The perfect blade
10 August 2022

Not as aggressive as the Feather, not as dull as the Derby and more durable as the Astra. My two tips: (1): Moisten your beard in good time, a pre-shave is also a good idea here, making shaving even more pleasant and thorough. (2): Turn the blade at the end of the service life to get another 2 shaves out. The blade I don't want to miss anymore!
