Given as a gift and what an amazing gift to receive. Most gorgeous leather handbag, beautifully designed. Perfect size wouldn't want it any bigger to use as a handbag. My only little niggle is that there's no inside pockets except one slot which is too small even for a phone. I have since bought a handbag organiser which has solved my problem. Personal preference and I'm sure that this may not be an issue for others.

Beautiful bag, but lacking a decent inner compartment. Only has one small pocket, which as the leather is rigid, there is not much you can fit inside. If you like having little pockets for your lip balm or quick grab items etc. this is not ideal, but otherwise a beautiful, soft leather, roomy handbag!

Not small at all, perfect size. I always have a tote with me and needed a nice bag which also would look good when going out after work. This one kills two birds with one stone. Love it!

I have a large collection of Mulberry bags, most in the old classic styles. It took me a while to decide whether I would give the new styles a go but this bag looked to be the best of the bunch. I purchased this bag with a view to using it as an every day bag, as it has a long strap, as well as carry handles. I don't travel light, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how roomy it is inside. It has a lovely chestnut suede lining. I use a handbag liner to protect the suede. I really like that it has a zip, so it's nice and secure. There is no zipped pocket on the inside, just a little pouch, which really fits nothing but a train ticket as it is so tightly stitched. The postman's lock at the front gives a nod to the Heritage Bayswater and the gold hardware really sets off the Oak colour of this bag. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 - the grainy leather. How it scuffs and scratches! I look after my bags, I treat them like children but this new grainy leather is so easy to scratch and scuff, so if you're looking to keep it pristine, you won't. I'm still not 100% convinced on the Johnny Coca designs for Mulberry, but if you are looking for a stylish, functional bag, which will last if you look after it, I'd happily recommend the small zipped Bayswater.
I agonised for a long time about buying this as it is very expensive, albeit slightly reduced!However, I'm so glad I did - it is a stunning bag of superb quality (as always from Mulberry) and I know I'll love it forever! It is such a useful size, perfect for that extra "small/big handbag" allowed by airlines as well as the usual carry on case!

I paid full price for this bag less than a month ago so I'm very disappointed that it is now heavily discounted, it has changed my opinion of the bag. Also the description is misleading as it says it has internal pockets to keep things secure. It does not have internal pockets, it has a side pouch just about big enough for a credit card.
This review is of the oak colour Bayswater bag. The colour is rich and will not disappoint . The leather has a soft raised grain adding depth and texture to the bag. The gold fixtures add class to a beautiful bag. It is larger enough to hold all your essentials and can be worn on your arm or carried and comes with a strap should you wish to wear across your body.It has enough weight to it to show quality of product without being too heavy to carry.Inside I would recommend a felt liner to ensure the inside of the bag is not scratched or damaged from products you may carry inside.Overall a stunning bag and well with the investment.
The colour and feel of this bag is absolute quality. It fits all my essentials in without them getting lost in the depths of the bag. The handles are just right and comfortable to hold and the across body strap makes this a bag for all occasionsCould not be happier and saving now for the beautiful pink one 😊
