Absolutely delicious! These bars are one of my favourite "treats"! They are very tasty and help me hit my protein intake target without making me feel heavy or bloated. The texture is very pleasant - no chalkiness or dryness such is sometimes typical of protein bars. Choc hazelnut is my flavour preference but I'm yet to dislike any of Muscle Nation's custard protein bars!

I normally not enjoying protein bars or shakes because of the flavour and texture. But this one is amazing! Flavour wise, texture wise this is the first time I really enjoyed protein bar. The only down thing was little bit too sweet for me. I am not a fan of sweet. I only eat dark chocolate and not a dessert type of person. 😆 my picky kids took a bite and loved it too.

This protein bar is a neat combination of flavours and textures. The brownie taste is at the forefront and the hazelnut component sits in the background. The chocolate hazelnut ganache is especially appealing and the layer has a lovely nutty taste with a fudge like consistency. The hazelnut pieces give crunch and variety to the texture. The chocolate coating provides a sweet element to the protein bar overall. Unfortunately, the supposedly white colour of the chocolate had turned yellowish and the taste did seem affected to some extent. Thus, this is the reason for the four star rating.

The updated version is Mega on the Mint flavour which is refreshing and sufficiently present in the soft custard.The milk chocolate coating provides sweetness and the brownie base gives the bar its robustness. The mint crisp toppings are crunchy and are a pleasing, new element.The Choc Mint Custard Protein Bar delivers on all fronts, and if you are fan of this iconic flavour combination it ticks all the right boxes. You will be pleased that you bought a box of this Muscle Nation snack.

Great flavour and texture. Good way to subdue cravings and get some protein in. The texture is smooth and not gritty or dry like other bars can be. Actually had a good flavour aswell, it tastes sweet but no terrible sweetener after taste which is hard to find.Just wish they came in a larger box. Great treat for work.

I'm not a huge fan of the social media and supplement products are not usually my vibe.However, my son has ADHD and a high protein diet is very important. But his medication dramatically reduces his appetite. After the pediatrician recommended protein bars to supplement his diet I decided to get a few MN boxes in the Black Friday sales. OMG! These are the best protein bars I have ever tasted. My son feels like he is getting a treat and I can feel confident he is getting a better alternative in his lunch box (especially if its the only thing he eats during the school day). We now have a stock pile of every flavors on hand.I guess you can be as cocky as you want on social media when your products really are ... Listen, these are one of the best flavours of protein bars. They are a CLOSE second to the White Choc Hazelnut. Maybe I'm just a white chocolate fan but once these are slightly melted in the microwave, I am transported directed to heaven.See that close up picture pointing out the filling? Positives: great nutritional profileNegatives: the tacky flavour is not palatable, and the metallic aftertaste exacerbates this. I've tried Choc Hazelnut and Choc Berry and these are far superior!A bigger disappointment though was MN's response to the above feedback. As opposed to listening, clarifying and remedying, a superfluous justification, dismissal and command for "cooperation" was given. I wonder if I should have communicated this via FB group, to be respected as a customer and get a more human response perhaps?
The Birthday Cake flavour is hands down better than the Choc Fudge Brownie! It’s got the perfect balance of sweetness without being overwhelming. The texture is soft, making it easy to eat, and it genuinely tastes like a slice of birthday cake, which makes it feel like a real treat. It’s surprisingly filling for its size, and the high protein content is a great bonus. If you’re after a protein bar that doesn’t compromise on flavour, this one is a must-try!
