I had to get really in a zone to consume this, and had a separate drink on hand to wash the taste out immediately after. I finished the tub but it was very difficult, never again. To note, they also sent me out the very old tub style, so think this is old stock. I've since purchased the Vanilla flavour and it tastes completely fine and matches the image. This is very good nutrition wise, but the taste is not as good as I expected, hence the 4 stars. Taste is bland. Not anywhere near enough vanilla flavour in it. Protein wise it has about 25g per scoop and is low in cals. Around 124 cals per scoop, which is great. Best to mix it with milk for more protein and more flavour ... But still flavour not enough. Quality is good, mixes easily with no lumps or powder left at the bottom.So far from this brand, flavour wise, I would highly recommend the double rich chocolate flavour. That one is the best (in my opinion).

Purely based on my experience... Mixing: Doesn't mix well in a cold liquid. Would probably be ok in a shaker but in a cup with a spoon it didn't mix well. I will try warm milk next time. Flavor: Imagine you buy a milk chocolate candy bar and you take a bite but can barely taste it, that's the flavor of the (protein) milk chocolate. Some negative reviews say it taste bad or chalky. It tastes like a barely noticeable milk chocolate candy bar. Packaging: Mine didn't come with a plastic seal around the lid but after taking the lid off I saw that it was sealed with (aluminum?). FWIW my lid also came with a paper seal ring thing. Compare your nutrients as you wish but overall I think it's good protein mix.

MuscleTech has successfully made one of their whey gold, premium for sure.I tried it today 1 scoop mixed with water and I was quite surprised that the flavor was true to taste, absolutely delicious and nutritious.I have also tried it with semi fat milk and two bananas mixed in the mixer which I don’t recommend, the flavor goes bizarre but it still very rich and creamy.Mixed in water there is a punch of vanilla later the flavor works it self forward in your mouth to expresso coffee, toffee and soft cola.There's no need for cheat food and no worries of it.I'd definitely recommend purchasing it. you won't regret it.It mixes well in water and quality is superior no lumping nor clumps, extremely well made for sure.Train hard, eat right, sleep tight and build muscle !

Only giving this a 4/5 because it's a good value for what you get. And unlike other whey protein powders, this one surprisingly keeps me full. Downsides; doesn't blend well. I use a blender bottle and i was still swallowing chunks after blending the powder for what seemed like forever. It also has a very artificial chocolate taste. It's not like a regular chocolate taste. It reminds me of the cheap .25cent Cadbury eggs i used to get for easter as a kid. Very very sweet it's kind of off-putting, I hate wasting product so I'll finish this powder and switch to a different kind. Definitely wouldn't buy again.
