For this review, I followed the instructions on the container for the recommended mixing ratio. I usually mix it up between all water and sometimes half and half water and whatever dairy or non-dairy milk I happen to have on hand. I always use an actual blender to mix my drinks, but I can say that the NitroTech blended very well and quickly. I didn't have to scrape the sides to get all the powder mixed in, it didn't gum up on the walls of the blender. The body of the shake was good, moderately thick and creamy. In the future I will use ~8 oz liquid per serving to thin it out per my preference. Iâve had my fair share of good protein when I was able to afford it, and my fair share of really bad protein when I was dirt poor. So from my experience with both ends of the totem pole I can honestly say this stuff is pretty good! However, it is definitely an entry level protein. So can you get ripped and lean while relying on this protein powder as your source of extra post workout protein? Yes absolutely you can! But itâs gonna mostly rely on your consistency and diligence in the gym, and you self control in the kitchen. If youâve got some money to spend on protein, save a little bit, but this stuff and spend the rest that you saved on professional advice from a nutritionist and/or a personal trainer!
