I ordered 3 oak wooden dots, they arrived super fast, packaged beautifully and are just lovely. They are slightly domed which make them look very smart. I have looked at a few other options and these are definitely worth the money they are very well made and robust. Will be buying more! Always shop with small businesses I loved the attention to detail!

The wall hooks are beautiful, unfortunately the assembly was not uncomplicated even for a skilled craftsman: the screws are extremely long (I bought smaller variants in the DIY store). Because one side is turned into the wall and the other side into the hook they can hardly be turned into the wall, because with pliers you break the screw chuck. But I read in a blog that you are not allowed to turn the screws with the wall hook into the wall, because then it breaks. For a soft wall it is certainly simple, for old building walls it is a real challenge. The only true solution: buy a mother at a DIY store, turn the screw and turn it into the wall with the right key. Remove the nut and screw the hook onto it. Thanks to this blog tip the assembly was quite uncomplicated. ... It is also a pity that neither in nor on the packaging there is an indication as to which anchor size is suitable (8 to 10 for the original screws). When the wall hooks are finally attached, they look really great, fulfill their purpose and are stable and look classy. Attention: most hangers only fit on the smallest hook, the middle as well as the big hook are only suitable to hang jackets etc. over them (but then you can't see the wall hooks anymore...)

I had coveted the Muuto Dots for a couple of years having seen them in a friend's hallway. I wanted them in bright yellow but these were no longer available. I spoke to Lewis at Really Well Made to enquire if the natural wood Dots would be suitable to paint. He was very knowledgable about the product and advised this was not recommended - I would not get the finish or the durability of the ready stained ones and it would invalidate the warranty. So, I went for the mustard ones and i am thrilled with them - gorgeous finish with the beautiful grain showing through. They came with long screws though I have yet to put them up. We bought a handful of these in natural oak and they're just lovely! The colour is beautiful and they really do look as good as you think they will.Service was great as always - we're regulars at RWM and highly recommend to anyone who loves good design and good service.
Love these coat hook dots. They look amazing on my wall and the colour was perfect.Would definitely recommend them to anyone.Beautifully packed and arrived in a surprisingly short time to Australia.
Super wardrobe replacement!I have a narrow hallway and therefore no big possibility to put a wardrobe or hang it on the wall. The Dots are really great! They can withstand a lot of weight (although they are sometimes so small) and also look great, even if the "wardrobe" should be empty.I ordered them in ash and the wood is very valuable. The only stupid thing is that you can't move the dots so often because you can't get the thread out of the wall at some point. But it only happened once in my life (before that the dot was already at 2 different places on the wall).I can only recommend the Dots!
Like many Muuto products, THE DOTS shines with a wonderful design for all Nordic Modern fans and a beautiful feel. The massive wooden buttons look beautiful and are well processed. With the small buttons you can attach brackets, with the sizes M and L this is not possible. To the negative: The assembly is unpleasant. But if you know how, you can at least avoid damage:The mounting instructions are written very small on the package. The dowel size of 10 mm should be taken into account, these are huge dowels, but with smaller ones there is hardly any chance to anchor the screws. Under no circumstances should you (as indicated on the package) screw the threads into the wooden knobs and then screw both together into the dowels. This either causes the internal thread of the DOT to pull out or the entire wooden knob to break. If you want to avoid this, you should grasp the threaded screw between the wall and the internal thread with pliers (because there is no eyelet in the screw) and screw it into the wall. Then unscrew the wooden knob. If you are lucky, none of the screws tear off ;)
The workmanship is high quality, the attachment simple, but overall, especially the large ones were just visually too dominant for me. Instead of being able to hang jackets and coats elegantly on the hanger, everyone in the household simply put their clothes over the wall hooks. So there was nothing left of the good design and high-quality finish.
