This is a very tasty product. I love the clear whey products but sometimes a slight after taste. I use about half the suggested dose (70grams) with water and its perfect as an intra workout to. Very light and freshing. Whilst you are training its drip feeding proteins, aminos, creatine and vitamins/electrolytes. So you are already feeding muscles as they are being broken down. Eddie Hall first introduced this idea to me and ive had amazing results. I had the raspberry lemonade..I am a clear whey fanatic and tried nearly all the flavours including limited edition vimto/power rangers etc. And this flavour has been the best yet. Not a huge fan of the milky heaviness of normal protein shakes so bought a few sample flavours of these to try. Made the mistake of mixing it in the blender rather than a shaker and ended up with a beaker full of froth that took about 30 minutes to settle! Next time I did it in a shaker bottle and it mixed very well and settled within a few minutes. The Bitter Lemon flavour was very reminiscent of old-fashioned bitter lemon mixer drink, but more synthetic and more bitter, like a hot lemon drink when you have a cold! - I didn't enjoy it at all I'm afraid. I highly recommend getting samples before buying a tub. I had the orange and mango before and have finished it and was looking to mix things up but don’t have the funds to risk buying something that I wouldn’t like. So I tried 6 different samples; lychee, watermelon, dragon fruit, white peach, peach tea and tangerine. Most were good. Lychee was the winner. White peach was fizzy which I didn’t like. Would recommend the rest! Goes Well With: I only used water and I wanted to have protein which was quick and easy to make between gym and heading to work!

I’d previously had classic protein whey shakes for years but grown tired of the thick milky formula and lost the nutribullet in a breakup so the stars aligned to try something new. Amazed that they shook up really quickly and easily but doubted that this squash-type drink could sate an appetite to the same level. Mind blown. Like 100% have no idea how this works but it just does. And actually works for me so much better than regular protein whey powder. Shakes up easily in any old 500ml plastic bottle. You can carry it round with you all day and it’s till ready to drink when you need. Have tried loads of flavours and would be happy to buy a big tub of any of them. I am writing to complain about the products Clear Whey Gainer - 15servings - Pineapple and Raspberry Lemonade. I ordered both product. I am very disappointed with both products. The powders mix horribly and they make me feel sick. I have tried mixing them with different liquids, but they still taste terrible. The powders are very grainy and they do not dissolve well. They also have very strong, artificial flavors that I find unpleasant that makes you feel sick.
I bought this and I was worried that it was going to be a sour apple sort of drink but instead its actually quite nice. The aftertaste is a tiny bit like sour apple but to be honest you dont even notice it. And plus its the easiest liquid calories youre gonna get in a day. Plus its not one of them disgusting, thick, milky protein shakes but instead its almost like a squash/juice and its easily digestible. Ive got to say myprotein you have done really well with this drink. If youre thinking to buying this drink then pick your flavour and buy it straight away. Apple 7.5/10 due to the after taste but its still quite good Goes Well With: Water
I thought I'd chuck a couple samples of the apple and orange & mango flavours in with my last order as I'm already a big fan of MyProtein's Clear Whey Isolate (rainbow candy flavour in particular). The orange & mango was pretty good, tastes like orange & mango squash but with a bit of an artificial tinge that you sometimes get with these kinds of products. The apple was my favourite though, despite accidentally watering it down too much. It tastes like sour apple Xtreme Chewits! I imagine this flavour could be a bit too sweet for some but if you have a refined palette like mine (read: a massive sweet tooth) you'll probably love it. Mixability is pretty good though the foam never quite fully settles and it's a little powdery but not horribly so. I used the pineapple flavour gainer for two weeks, and it tastes really bad. I can't really see how anybody can compare this to juice. The colour is very off putting as well, it is neon yellow. It foams a lot and that is the worst part, makes me want to throw up every time. I guess it does work as a weight gainer, but I'll stick to making my own gainer shakes with regular whey isolate from now on. Not exactly convenient either since it makes me feel super tired after I drink it. It makes you full after just a couple sips, and with the revolting taste it takes a lot of time and willpower to drink it. Overall not recommended. Goes Well With: A separate glass of water
