Don’t Miss My Old System

After owning separate components for many years, this is my first stereo integrated amp. Set up was easy including the BluOS module. Am using a Mac mini as my main music library and I plugged the NAD directly into my router with an Ethernet cable and that connects the BlueOS directly to an entire world of streaming services and internet radio stations. Literally within a minute or two after hookup I was streaming 192k/24bit files and getting amazing sound. This unit has more than enough juice for my apartment. To ensure I don’t disturb my neighbors I’m using a neat ā€˜governor’ feature on the Bluesound app set to -15dB. When my neighbors aren’t around I love to blast U2 at concert levels. So, this is what utterly distortion free sound is like! It's so darned smooth and artifact free, that I'm astonished at how easy it is to listen to. There's no emphasis or attenuation of frequencies, and the distortion is so low it's barely measurable, let alone audible. NAD just created a new classic....and I'm pleased to see them latching onto the right technology by using Hypex here. Amazing stuff. Now, if they only provided a USB input, this would be the ultimate bedroom/office rig foundation. I'm using it with the optical outputs, and the sound is fantastic.

This is my 2nd NAD integrated. I had one back in the late 80's that finally gave out a few years ago and it sold me on the brand. The phono pre is really nice for this price point. I do not like the universal remote. Also I was ready to plug in my banana plugs only to find out it only takes half depth plugs. I had to email NAD to figure out what the problem was. Would have been nice to mention that in the set up instructions.

Good value...industrial appearance...neutral sound
30 October 2018

I was surprised to hear such neutral, bordering on smooth, sound coming out of this amp. Channel balance was perfect, even at low levels, it has enough power to handle almost any reasonable speaker up to a medium sized room. This amp delineates instruments well in a dense mix, compared to my previous Nuprime setup. It maintains the usual austere NAD appearance, which fits in with almost anything. It's one of those components that won't stick out or impose itself in a mixed stack of gear.Connections are fine, but I think they missed a perfect 5 stars because they didn't include a USB port. Everyone offers USB now, even the lowest of the low performers. They really push the BluOS thing, perhaps that's the reason.Other than that potentially minor quibble, I ...Ā MoreI was surprised to hear such neutral, bordering on smooth, sound coming out of this amp. Great Piece Of Gear
5 October 2017

When you consider everything this amp offers its a real bargain. I’m using it in my office with a pair of Monitor Audio Silver 2 compacts and the sound is pretty amazing. I connected the 368 to my home network - you can do this wirelessly or hard-wired - and am using the BlueOS app to control with my iPad. I am impressed with how stable this app is compared with any other music control app I’ve tried. Sometimes I listen to the TIDAL streaming service but most of the time I’m enjoying alternative rock on some favorite internet radio stations. The 368 is a great piece of gear and I can’t think of any reason I would want to replace it for many, many years. BTW, the guys at Advisor have always been great to deal with. Kaan was especially helpful with my order.

Highly - Very Highly - Recommended

My review: The C368 is the best amplifier I’ve every owned. The amp includes a ton of useful features including multiple digital inputs, analog inputs, mm-phono and there’s even a headphone amp. I hooked it up to my Rega Planar table and was listening to great music in minutes. Once I settled in I started to investigate the other music source options. I got the amp with the BlueOS upgrade which was $399 additional but turns out it was well worth it. BlueOS lets me connect to music streaming services and more than 10,000 internet radio stations. I’m just starting to experiment with this feature and can tell you I’m pretty impressed by the TIDAL streaming service. I am controlling the BlueOS app with my android phone and is very easy to use. I haven’t tried the headphone amp yet, but the amplifier section has gobs of power and easily drives my Vandersteen speakers to stupid levels. I could go on here but think I’ve said enough about how good this amp is.

Killer Combo
6 October 2017

Bought this for use in my office with a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon turntable. What a killer combo! Amazing value for the price. The sound is clear, clean and completely distortion-free up to insane levels. The built in phono stage works great with my Ortofon MM cartridge. The BlueOS feature connected quickly to my network and hasnt gone done since. Controlling the streaming with my iPhone via Bluetooth. Has everything I wanted in an amp and very good sound, too.

NAD C 368 Integrated Amplifier / DAC

Recently purchased this NAD C368 from UA and paired it with Klipsch RP-8000F Speakers also purchased here. I also bought a NAD Table C588 to use as the center pierce of my audio system.I bought a C320? integrated back in the 80’s and had that NAD amp for many many years. Along with my DCM time frame speakers it was my first foray into entry level hi fi. Since then I have really only bought NAD integrated’s and I am very happy with this latest. It’s been 14yrs since my last real home stereo upgrade and once I found Upscale it put me on a fast track to getting my initial package. My budget was 3k (very modest) for Integrated, Speakers and Table.I had concerns about this pairing, as some NAD products get accused of sounding analytical or even lean, the Klipsch is a ...Ā MoreRecently purchased this NAD C368 from UA and paired it with Klipsch RP-8000F Speakers also purchased here. It’s been 14yrs since my last real home stereo upgrade and once I found Upscale it put me on a fast track to getting my initial package. My budget was 3k (very modest) for Integrated, Speakers and Table.I had concerns about this pairing, as some NAD products get accused of sounding analytical or even lean, the Klipsch is a forward speaker with a brighter upper mid and extended highs. I knew these speakers would take quite some time to burn in and settle in to the sound I could expect for the long term but ai was surprised this combo sounded so controlled and fun out of the gate. The Bluetooth works great and sounds quite good for what it is. The NAD gives it some credibility here and the listener is rewarded. Also the phono stage is fully decent and showed a nice dark background and punchy sound that is respectable at this price point. The Amp at 80 watts provides plenty of meat on the bone and while it lacks the warmth of other brands, to my ears it sounds lively and vibrant. I think it will only smooth out with age as the speakers fully mature. The table as well is a ā€œcrackerā€ as cited by one critic and I fully agree. A dedicated phone stage and other upgrades are headed my way to extract the maximum from it.I would tell you not to underestimate this little Integrated and you would be hard pressed to find a lower noise floor at this price. It’s very clean.

Stay away!
29 October 2021

After about 4 years of reliable service. This unit died. The warranty is only 2 years. The only way I can get the unit to power up is to toggle the power switch on the back. I am seeing a DC error once it powers up. No sound comes from the unit, none of the buttons on the unit work, and it will not respond to the remote with this error code. I have repeatedly called NAD support, like 20 times (no exaggeration), and cannot get a live person, just an automated message and a request to leave my phone number for a call back. What horrific customer service for a big company!

This Amp Is Awesome
6 October 2017

I’m into three kinds of music: cool jazz, soprano opera and classical and this am is producing inviting, thrilling, yet warm sound with my Magnepan 1.7 speakers. The eighty watts per channel is plenty of power for my 1200sq ft apartment. The DAC is easily best I have ever experienced! However, the headphone amp is not the best; but you can't have everything and I’m using separate headphone amp, anyway. This amp is built like a tank, which gives me confidence that it will last a long, long time.. I am very happy with this amp and I just bought the NAD 516 CD Player to go with it. The combo is delivering compelling, realistic sound for me. Five Stars!
