I applied this to my armpits and bikini area. Someone who doesn't maintain with shaving and waxing down there and finds it overwhelming after it's completely grown should try this, in my opinion. It will eliminate the majority of your hair and making shaving considerably less difficult. Thus, I apply it for the maximum period advised or remove it if it begins to sting before then. And I'll use a razor to remove any remaining hairs or stubble. You might not need to shave afterwards if your hair is thin. I stopped using this product there since my armpits were more sensitive to it.

This and all other nair products are a gamble. I follow instructions and only left this product on for three minutes, no burning/ stinging sensation while it was on, wiping it off was another story. This product severely burned my skin. I immediately cleansed it off with a gentle cleanser and jumped into a ice cold shower and let it rinse over my face for several minutes. I used a first aid healing cream as moisturizer and shortly after decided to ice my face with a towel and ice pack. This product cause immense damage to my skin and left me with scarring. Would not recommend to anyone.

It says on the instructions to not use beyond 10 minutes. They need to say coarse COARSE hair is gonna need two applications and 15 minutes the first time. What I did was test a patch for 5 minutes and nothing happened. 3 days later, I applied a thick layer for 11 minutes; bits, but not even close to all was gone. So I rinsed thoroughly, waited about 5 minutes and then applied again. 10 minutes later, it was all gone. I will say, I think the hair has to be softened if it’s coarse in order for the 10 minute method to be effective. So applying some warm water and letting the area cool down, then applying seems like close to the trick.

Did not work
16 January 2023

This did not work for me. I have tried Nair products multiple times and they have never worked. I figured I would give them one more chance with this face product.I do not have thick or coarse hair on my face so I figured this would be a good alternative to waxing. I followed the directions, putting the right amount if product in and for the time required. The product started to burn around the 5 minute mark. I removed the product and found that very little hair came off. It was patchy and in the area around my forehead, it left it curly. Which is odd because I have straight hair. It took a day for the redness to go away.I ended up dermaplaining my face. I would not recommend this product to anyone unless they have had success with other nair products. Does what it should
9 February 2023

This works good for me. Yes it is slightly uncomfortable when it’s on, but that’s normal for Nair in my opinion. 5 mins and everything is gone! I am left with no (or very minimal) redness when I’m done. And maybe my skin feels slightly sensitive after for a bit, but that subsides quickly. None of these hair removal things are completely painless. That’s just the way that it is. My skin is not sensitive so this works fine for me. I think if you have sensitive skin you should probably not use this. I’m assuming the people that had bad reactions have sensitive skin? Anyway, this is a great alternative to waxing for me, which always made me breakout with pimples for a week after!

Love it, been using it for years!
2 April 2023

I’ve been using this product for years! It’s effective and quick and it doesn’t have an unpleasant smell. I am very sensitive to any irritation on my face, so I actually use a timer and I start with four minutes check to see if it’s done, and then do another four minutes, not exceeding 10 minutes per the instructions. If i start to feel any tingling, then I know it’s time to definitely remove it but I try not to get to that point because if you leave it on too long, and you don’t moisturize your skin properly for the next few days, it will be dry and flaky for the next couple days. The only time I ever had pink/red blotches was for a few minutes and then it goes away within that day. I will say the longer I keep the tube, the longer it takes to process it seems - so ... MoreI’ve been using this product for years! It’s effective and quick and it doesn’t have an unpleasant smell. Nair Face Cream
30 July 2021

I am a dark haired woman with incredibly fair skin. I can grow a mustache some teenage boys would ogle, and in the last few years have started to sprout some thick chin hairs.I’ve been using Nair’s face cream for several years now, and have never had a problem with its effectiveness. I would like to share a few tips and observations, however, that I have learned over time to get the most out of the cream.1) Very corse, thick hairs are too protein rich for this product to work on. I have a few of these, and have chosen to simply pluck them from the root whenever they sprout up.2) I use this product once a week, before taking a shower, for two reasons. I have a few of these, and have chosen to simply pluck them from the root whenever they sprout up.2) I use this product once a week, before taking a shower, for two reasons. The first is that longer hairs are more receptive to the chemicals in the cream, and there is a better chance of longer hair burning down to skin level than short. The second, and I know this will be frowned upon by some, is because a hot shower right after opens the pores, which helps me remove any leftover hair or skin on my face. I will use a washcloth with warm water and gently exfoliate the areas I’ve naired while in the shower as well.3) A generous amount of this cream needs to be used for it to work effectively. The instructions do say to slather a thick layer over the hair in question, and this holds true. Make sure that it is covered by this product well enough that you can’t see it through the cream. Skimping out on using significant dollops will stop all of the hair from burning away, and can leave behind unwanted patches.4) The instructions say to leave the cream on for five minutes- in my case, because I have a lot of hair and it’s thicker than peach fuzz, I need to wait ten to twelve minutes for the best result. I can assure, this does not, at least for me, cause any discomfort, burning, or chemical rash. I set a timer, wait for it to ring, and gently wipe away the cream with a washcloth before heading into the shower. This has worked, tried and true, for years.I think every woman (or man) is different, hair included. Experimenting with this product is a must to find what works best for each of you. For some, with incredibly thick hair, the cream may never work, but it’s worth a shot and some trial and error to see what works case by case.

Not the best for me.
25 September 2022

My main goal was to use this for my upper lip. Applied it the same way it said on the instructions, but after I removed it I noticed that not all the hair was removed. No irritation, majority of the hair came off but there were some spots that were still there. So I put the cream on a second time but only on the spots the cream did not remove the first time. The second time round my skin felt very tingly, after 2 minutes of leaving it on it felt like my skin was burning. So I removed it and noticed it left my skin red as well as inflamed and left little bumps on one area. Not sure if the irritation and burning was because I applied it twice in a row. Maybe I need to leave it on alittle longer the first time instead of doing it twice?

Save yourself the trouble, do not buy!!!!!
31 December 2022

I tried a small amount on my cheek to make sure I wouldn’t have an allergic reaction. Left it for 5 minutes, I was fine. Therefor, I placed a good amount on my upper lip, cheeks, and chin. After 5 minutes I removed it with a wet cloth. I had a really bad irritation, now I have bumps on my face and it hurts like h*ll. My face burns and itches and it is extremely irritated. Someone needs to hold them accountable because this isn’t acceptable at all. I should’ve known better, this was only $5 not worth the hassle and trouble. I’m extremely disappointed!!! After a three hours of experiencing this my face is getting swollen and I have more bumps appearing. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!

THE BURN IS REAL!

Give zero if it would let me. I used this product on my upper lip and my chin. I used by directions, 5 minutes is all. I don't have sensitive skin so I thought I'd give it a try. Tweezing takes forever and has to be done daily . The burn is real I tell you! Even aloe gel burned so bad I had to blot it off with a wash cloth dipped in ice water. Then the hair was back the next day, and today is day #2 and now my lip and chin look and feel like a grown mans face. I cant even tweeze them away because I have so many blisters and sores but it looks like I'm competing with my husband to see who can grow the fullest beard/mustache fastest. I definitely DO NOT recommend this product to anyone at all. Patiently waiting on the redness and swelling to go down to see if any of ... MoreGive zero if it would let me.
