Sure this monitor has a lot of great features, but it fails at the most basic and essential task: actually monitoring. I've never managed to use it a single night without the app losing the video feed from the camera. Sometimes it disconnects for hours at a time and the only fix is to reinstall (also not very easy since this fails for no reason).Nanit will say to check the connection. It's not my wifi. I've tested the signal strength at thile exact location of the camera and it's over 200 MBs up and down. Enough for 10 simultaneous HD Netflix streams.Since the connection is constantly dropping, this monitor is useless.

Love this camera as it’s clear. However, the features of the camera you have to purchase for $8 a month or $80a year, which to me is ridiculous since I just paid $400+ for the camera . Their customer service is horrible with long weight times ( 60+ min) and their online customer service takes a few days with a reply, per email! The camera I purchased came with the wall mount. I purchased the multi stand for travel and decided the floor stand would be great to have instead of mounting it to the wall, except that was an additional $200!!! No thanks!I do love the camera for clarity and how easy it was to set up with wifi and travel with. I’m not sure what the other baby cams are like on the market but do your research first!

The app also does real time alerts if there is a sound from the cot or movement via you phone or watch up which is useful. All in all - a great product which we would highly recommend it.

The Nanit Plus baby monitor is really amazing! It was very easy to set up and install, with step by step directions and it took me about 10 minutes. The picture and video are very clear and whether it is day or night, you see a high definition video feed of your child and it also has great sound quality. The app is well designed, user-friendly and intuitive and it also tracks sleeping habits. You get instant alerts on your phone when there is any sound or movement within the crib. With the app on my phone to use with the baby monitor, I don't have to carry a bulky device with me. Also, being able to use the app on my parents phones was a big plus for us. There is an option for offline using bluetooth but I couldn't figure out how to turn that on. We live in an apartment where we don't have the router in our unit so we didn't have the option to move in closer so we plugged in a wifi signal booster and that seemed to fix the issue. Also the monitor doesn't turn off unless your unplug it, so if you go in your child's room or make noise around the room you'll get notifications on your phone all day, but glad to know its all working I love that it has such a clear image and that it records videos to watch later, such as if your baby wakes up in the middle of the night, how he fell asleep. It makes really neat graphs showing how your baby slept, and his sleep averages, You can speak to your baby through the monitor, it has a dim light you can turn on, and best of all it has a built in white noise machine! Lastly I love that anyone who you sign up to your child's account can have access to the video, Such as hubby can check in on baby while at work.
I bought this for my preemie newborn and absolutely love it. You do have to have wifi, and you do have to purchase nanit insights to see past history movement clips, otherwise it is just like a regular real time camera. I am able to pull up the app on my phone and see him, zoom in, take pictures, check the room temp, etc. I can also turn on background audio to where I can still use my phone but be able to hear if he is crying etc in the background. The floor stand makes it to where I can still have something on the wall behind it. I do not have mine centered but it works great. It gives me peace of mind. The app and wifi are great.

This was a complete waste of money. The camera itself cost 400 dollars but I bet they only spent 20 cents on the wifi antenna. I can honestly say, the "live" feed worked 20% of the time. Most times, I sit there watching the "trying to connect" spinner animation spins endlessly in its futile attempt to connect.I tried all the suggested remedies. Moving the router closer, reconnectinng to the wifi, restarting the cam, reinstalling the app. Nothing seems to work.Again this is a complete waste of money. Spend the money on a 50 dollar vtech cam instead.

It says it has 3 bars(full connection) yet there is still a 5-10 second delay at times. I have tried on an iPhone and android.
