The bulb was installed properly with no touching of the glass and blew within a day. I am figuring it was due to a production fault with the bulb.

I'm happy after trying Narva 12V 21W for the replacement on my cars lights. Why? The lights I replaced are Narva now. The idea that my car will be running nicely until the next change is a positive.
Fixed by replacing rare indicator bulb on my Ford Falcon xr 07.
Had a bulb flashing too fast so I went around and replaced all 4 blinkers. Nice and bright. Just pay the bit extra and get these.
All good worked well especially on older faded lenses.

Bought LEDs and they wouldn't work. Bought these and worked straight off. Very happy.
