I bought these 2 weeks ago and as a test I replaced one side first and turned on the headlights against a wall.By my un-scientific eyeballing judgement, yes they are brighter, but not 150% brighter.Also, my old H4 globes were the original factory ones that were 12.5 years old, so you would expect the new globes to be brighter.Out on the road, with both new globes installed, there is certainly more light being put out, so I'm happy with this purchase since I got it on sale as well.I can't rate its longevity as I've only had them for 2 weeks.

I have used these in all my cars with Polycarbonate headlight lenses with great results as yes they are heaps brighter without destroying your headlights. Sure 140/100 watt bulbs will always be better but unless you have glass headlight lenses and relays fitted for the extra load all you are going to do is damage your car.

I was sceptical about the 150 rating on these as previously I had used premium globes +50 and the blue globes. But these headlamps filled in the gap that was always visible in the past in front of the car, the only way previously to fill this void was using the fog lights. I seem to have much better coverage of light now, only down side is the light is on the warmer side and not the white light from my Arctic Blue lamps.
I bought these a week ago and installed them in my Gu patrol, already had the narva plus 100 in they worked great but 5 years old thought time to replace before they blow, Ended up installing the narva PLUS 150 now holly heck big difference. Don't expect them to last as long as they are a high performance globe (brighter light and thinner filament). But now it's given me much more light output at night i no longer need to use led spot lights. For anyone wanting brighter lights and don't care it won't last as long as crappy long life globes these are the ones to get, Also HINT remove any oxidation on headlights otherwise it's pointless upgrading globes.
Big difference from my dull OEM lights, I can see clearly now, the dull has gone, (could not help myself), I travel a lot of country roads no lights & little road markings, so this has helped heaps. Best buy ever & at a great price. Highly recommend. Thanks.
My old Jaguar headlamps were becoming extremely dim and very yellow. So i needed to upgrade the old girls globes.I emailed the Narva guys who called me a few days later. 20 minutes on the phone and the decision was made to get these.Wow what a difference! I can now see the road clearly with this magnificent white light that penetrated the darkness.
One headlight globe is perfect but the other globe has an uneven spread of light and does not match the other beam, will not purchase this item in the future.
One hundred percent better than the standard units. Fitted these after my off side headlight bulb blew. Hadn't realised how low powered the standard units fitted to my Jackaroo had been. I'm feeling a lot safer travelling at night in regional areas now.
Although these globes greatly improve visibility they are far from long lasting. My first pair lasted a few months and the second set has just blown after 17 months. I keep two ordinary globes as spares because I know that I will need them. Having said that, I have just ordered my third set because now that I am used to them, it is scary to drive on country roads with the standard brightness spares fitted. In summary, these do what it says on the tin but are not cheap to run.
