Definitely the best

Needs must….I have been buying packets of prunes for breakfast for some time and spotted these in Waitrose. They are without doubt, the plumpest and best tasting prunes I have ever bought in lovely thick prune juice. I have discovered a way to make the juice go further after all the prunes have been eaten….buy a packet of “soft prunes”(again I’ve found the Waitrose have the best ones) and put several into the jar overnight to soak in the juice. Next morning they have plumped up beautifully and you can do this several times before running out of juice!

I love these as an evening snack with a dollop of creme fraiche. Its not chocolate fudge cake, which is what I actually want, but thats not Natures Finests fault.

Different juice
9 December 2018

First the size of the container was shrunk, and now the juice has changed drastically. It now turns my daughter's porridge pink instead of brown. Looking for an alternative that is more environmentally friendly too.

Great pitted prunes
3 April 2022

These are delicious; although a little expensive, the jar is packed full and as it is now almost impossible to buy pitted prunes in juice, I shall stock up on my next shopping trip.

Lovely juicy prunes good value for money. I use them for topping my breakfast cereal or having a portion with some natural yoghurt

More Juice
1 March 2016

I've been buying this product for a while, and it seems to me that the ratio of juice to prunes has increased lately. In other words, less prunes and more juice. Anybody else noticed this? That said, the prunes are nice and juicy, they should be they're in juice after all, and the flavour is good....But I'm marking them down because of my previous observation.

Not good value for money
19 November 2016

I prefer my prunes pitted, hence the reason for buying these. I was disappointed to find that the jar contained mostly juice. I think I only got the equivalent of the contents of a bog standard tin of prunes out of it. Fridge jar? You don't need it since there are none left. Very expensive.

Not so good
10 August 2023

These used to be a regular buy, convenient and good value but the last couple have been not so good. A bit hard and small. I'm buying another brand at the moment, might give them another go at a later date.

Plump and tasty
12 September 2020

These are nice and plump and tasty. It would be nice to be able to get a smaller container, but having said that they keep well in the fridge. Beware that although the majority of the prunes are pitted, you can come across a stone in some of them.
