We had been taking Country Life Maxi C Complex capsules, for years, and were satisfied with them. Recently, they were discontinued, only tablets were available, but were too large to swallow. We liked that we only needed to take one a day, and the caps were easy to swallow, although large.When I found Nature's Plus Super C Complex, it wasn't a plus that we had to take 2 to get 1000 mg, but when I compared the strength of the various components of C, I found them to be much higher than the Maxi C. In addition, NP has Rose Hips & Acerola. Best of all, while Maxi had stearates, NP doesn't. We'll stick with NP happily.

This product is advertised as Corn Free, using a gelatin capsule (ingredients silica, gelatin and purified water). The product that ships is in a "vegetarian" capsule (ingredients vegetable cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica and purified water), obviously not gelatin and obviously NOT CORN FREE. I am disappointed to see that the general move toward "vegetarian" friendly products, puts those of us with sensitivities to corn and soy at risk, since these are major ingredients in almost all "vegetarian" items.
I looked everywhere to find a Vit C that has rutin, hesperidrin and acerola -- this is the only one. I used to get black & blue marks easy and read those bioflavonoids would solve the issue and it has. Excellent product!
