The best part about the voyage is the very prominent note of Watermelon and Pineapple which is criminally underused in some of the other high end summer perfumes because nothing screams summer more than these two notes. Nautica Voyage is a dumb reach. That’s a compliment. This is probably best for a younger man, or someone just getting into fragrances. At $20 or so it’s hard to beat value wise. It’s for spring or summer time, and it has aquatic and prominent citrus notes. Also I do like how the cut cucumber scent mixes in. That gives it a bit more versatility. Anyone would be hard pressed, to find a better cologne in this price range. It’s a tested and true likable scent. The bottle is fairly basic, with the name of the house out front. I’d recommend this for casual use. Am surprised by how solid its atomizer is. Also I like the blue gradient. For basic purposes, this is a good one, although expect 5 to 6 hours of service life. I never buy scents without smelling them before hand but I'd seen so many videos of this scent with such high reviews and recommendations. So, I thought I'd give it a try and hope I would be let down. Well, what a let down. Even tho the smell is amazing straight after the initial spray (a clean, ocean, summer smell) the longevity of this is poor. After 30 mins I asked a family member if they could smell me. Their response was 'not really, if anything I can smell something very faint'. Don't believe the hype people, you'll regret buying this. I now have it in my glove box incase I go out and forget to put anything on and need a quick fix. If you were to wear this throught the day, be prepared to be reapplying it every 10 minuets and about 7/8 squirts. I purchased this Eau de Toilette as I was looking for something more affordable to wear everyday. This is actually very good, the design of the bottle and the cap looks premium and expensive which actually really surprised me considering that a lot of the cheaper Eau de Toilettes just use a black plastic spray button and a black plastic cap... It smells nice and not too overpowering. If you like Davidoff Cool Waters, I think you will like this scent. The scent really reminds me of being at the beach with fresh, clean air. It really is a nice scent which isn't too strong. It's strong enough though so others get a glance of the fragrance as you walk past. I've even had people tell me that I smell really nice! My only downside to this is that the cap comes off really easily, but the bottle just stays at home so it's not really an issue for me unless I was travelling and had it in a bag, but my advice is that if you are travelling, just stick the cap down to the solid glass bottle with tape otherwise the cap may fall off.

On a whim I went with Voyage based on the cheaper price being nothing lost if I didn't like it. All I can say is what a choice that turned out to be. This is THE perfect summer fragrance. It's fast becoming one of my favourite EDTs and since first wearing I have had more comments on Nautica than any other fragrances I've worn. Genuinely surprised by the overwhelming reaction to it. The opening smell of cool melon is to be savoured. For me personally, projection and longevity are wonderful. One application in the morning and I'm still smelling it at night. This is my second review of Nautica Voyage after using it for a few months. Nautica Voyage is stunning for such a great price. I Originally compared this scent to Pual Smith ''Men'' but I was so wrong. At first this juice punches you in the face with freshness, green apples, sherbert, sea salt, sand, and sea air. Bang out of the shower freshness. Then gradually this mellows into the sea, literally. Everybody will recognise this smell: days on he beach, rock pools, seaweed, sun baked skin, salt spray & beach towels. I also notice that throughout the mellow nautical vibe, I get hit with occasional punches of the opening bursts of freshness. Just like the waves crashing on the beach!
