Super smooth on PS5. Graphics amazing and cut scenes are super dope when u make shots. It get a little more realistic every year but this year was really good. Hard to shoot at 1st but once u get timing right u can ball out!

If you want to just play basketball I think you will enjoy play now, MyNBA, WNBA. The one problem for many players is MyCareer mode and My team. Also if you are not an online player you will miss out on getting season prizes, which some can help with your player and how well he play. Not fair. Everything costs so much VC in this game. I bought the $100 version of the game, which came with 100K VC. That was barely enough to get MyPlayer to 70ish overall. Then, you have to spend more VC on dunks, dribbling, etc. If you don't have much spare time like me and want to have fun playing the game, you'll want to level up your MyPlayer by purchasing VC. My complaint is I spent $100 then I'll have to spend another $50-100 just to enjoy the game. Also, the game looks the same as the previous year. I really don't know why 2K can't just update the same game instead of releasing a new copy each year.

I have been getting 2k every year since 2k6. A huge Kobe fan so I'm thrilled to have him on the cover again. Have been a fan of the "pro play" concept. However, as a casual you'll have to put some time in to practice and really notice that feature. Mamba out!
Some things have changed from the last installment. Those changes are up for debate as they relate to the overall experience. I got this for my boyfriend. I haven't played previous versions but this one seems a little disappointing from what I've watched and kind of played. It definitely is a grinding game unless you're rich, then you can by all the upgrades you want. The world seems a little too big for what it is and is annoyingly slow to watch the character go through.The storyline doesn't seem bad? But it doesn't seem great. I've played other games that I can't put down JUST because of the storyline - this is not that game.There are a couple glitches here and there requiring a restart of the game... I don't know the frustration with builds that some people seem to have but I do see how slow the story can be with all the cut scenes... Nice Game play overall. I'm not a fan of certain animations. Also, it's risky to contest a jumper. There's a good chance you'll pick up a foul.
If it wasn't for the cover, I wouldn't even bother. The gameplay sucks! The motion control of the big men is terrible. 2K has a very toxic and abusive relationship with gamers. They ask what we want and then do the opposite.
