The ball overall is really well made. However there are a few small details that leave it in the dust as compared to fellow competitors such as the Wilson evolution. One of these being that the actual seams in the ball didn’t have the best grip and kept slipping. Along with this the ball also had an artificial feeling bounce which made it awkward to dribble sometimes. That being said the ball rolled off the fingers very well for shots and the actual texture allowed for very nice grip.

I'm pretty confident the size 7 is not actually regulation size though, something feels a little weird about it, and about 6 or 7 other people who have used my ball have asked if it's the right size.Really wanted to like this ball, it does feel very nice and beautiful colour, just durability and sizing isn't there.

Don't even hesitate! Worth the extra few bucks!!Hey its expensive but it's QUALITY. Bought this for street ball and the grip is amazing! Dribbling is crisp and controlled while shots feel natural. Could be used for indoor as well.
This basketball was bought as a present for my daughter. It was the same kind that was used when I played ball in in school. The handling is great due to the finish of the skin.
My god this ball is good. I got this ball after my Molten Outdoor basketball lost all its grip in about a week so I changed to Wilson to hope for a new and more durable ball and jeez did this ball last.Ive used it everyday since i got it last month and if you asked me to compare the one i have now to one in store there would be no difference. highly recommend for any backyard ever and you will never have to purchase another ball as it also copes well indoors so no need to get a $150 ball for hopes of getting your ball picked to play pickup at the Rec Centre.
The ball has been used on our outdoor basketball hoop by my two teenage sons. The grip of the ball is outstanding. It enhances both dribbling and shooting. The material is high quality and the ball still looks brand new despite daily use on concrete. Highly recommend!
The Wilson Forge PRO is the best mid-price range composite leather ball I have ever tried. I give it a 10 out of 10 score in Grip and Control (both the channel construction and the grippy feel of the cover are almost on par with a broken-in professional leather ball) and a 9 out of 10 score in Bounce, which is very true and predictable but seemed to be slightly less responsive on a wooden indoor surface. I tried this ball indoors under very hot and humid conditions and found that it really helped my passing and shooting, and also outdoors on a well maintained asphalt court which produced zero erosion to the cover. I switched to the Wilson Forge PRO from a Wilson NCAA composite replica ball and have to say that the Forge PRO edges out the NCAA on every relevant attribute. My only small gripe design-wise is that the UPC code that Wilson uses to identify their balls could have gone near the inflation valve instead of by the logo. Kudos to Wilson for delivering the Forge PRO precisely inflated and ready for play out of the box.
I really like the grip on this basketball. I have used it for about 2 weeks now ( about 5 times) on a black top surface. The grip is still good. The ball has not shown much wear yet, which is good compared to other balls i have used on the same surface.The only negative about the ball, is that it seems a little heavier than most indoor/outdoor balls that i have used in the past. In fact other people that i played with said the same thing, and that was without me mentioning it.Overall, i am very pleased with the ball.
Bought online. Online ordering from Rebel was smooth and perfect as always.Problem is Wilson brand quality though!!!Super low quality . I also burchased a Nike Playground basketball togetherwith this one. Nike was on sale and much cheaper but it feels premium quality.I bought another Wilson from a different retailer a year ago. it was bad quality as well. Don't know what is wrong with Wilson brand in general . I would suggest Spalding or Nike but not Wilson!.
