The first Most Wanted game is, for me, the greatest game to date. Didn't work on arrival. I will be trying to return it. I tried a different cable. Cleaned it on the pc with command prompt, and I still couldn't get it to format or even read on my xbox. I understand it's refurbished, but should operate as intended. I recently ordered two 4tb externals from wd and they work great. That's why i gave 2 stars

If you remember, when you tried to go 'back' and play a PS2 game via SCART on your shiny new 42" HD Panel when you first bought it? Yeah, very reminiscent of that effect, visually. The game VERY often runs at sub 30fps (I doubt it ever really reaches it) and the visuals actually make the game hard to look at when your trying to play it! Migraine inducing tbh. I will say, in fairness, when the framerate is up to scratch (rarely) the game actually feels and plays alright. After the great job Criterion did with the last two NFS titles though (opinions vary, but they were at least, graphically accomplished and gameplay was good) this is a massive step back. I have since had chance to experience the PS4 version and, although the game seems to lack any personality and is as dull as dishwater, the visuals are at least very nice and the game plays well enough. Just a bland 'we can't possibly lose' mix of Most Wanted & Hot Pursuit rolled into one. If you could be bothered to read this far, do yourself a favour and either: 1) Buy or revisit NFS Hot Pursuit or NFS Most Wanted 2) Buy NFS Rivals for PS4 instead The PS3 version is reminiscent of all those leading developer/publisher titles (EA, Ubi, Acti, etc) released at the end of generation for all consoles; a shoddy, quickly ported, "will have to do" cash grab. If you really have to... then you have to. But you've been warned: honestly, just avoid it...

A great value for this amount of storage plus backed by WD. When I got this drive I did a full scan to verify the integrity and the drive passed all clusters in working order. So a clean bill of health as you might say. The drive did come formatted in NTFS which is no surprise. I am using it with Linux so formatted it in EXT4 with GPT. I would recommend the drive and will buy these drives again although I will always do a full scan first to make sure the drive is okay before fully trusting it with data.
So I gotta tell you, being hearing-impaired, I can't tell you if this is a "quiet" drive, but it doesn't bother me, noise-wise. So there's that. Other 'n that? This has been exactly what I wanted for my Xbox One: a significant expansion in storage space, and I've found that the load times have been essentially no different than I'd expect from the on-board hard drive. Oh, I'm sure it's somewhat slower just because of the USB 3.0 data transfer, but the difference hasn't been noticeable to me. It takes up essentially the same amount of desk space as the 1 TB I bought for my PS4, but it isn't blue. That makes ME blue. That's my only gripe. Go buy one.
I bought this hard drive for Time Machine backups on my MacBook Pro. The refurbished drive looks new and backed with Western Digital's 2-year warranty. For this low price ($41 shipped) and the reliability of WD drives, it's a worthy investment. I find the drive to be pretty quiet, light, and reliable so far. Highly recommended!

There are 80+ jumps & 80 + speed cameras to find. There are no billboards or gates like in NFS: Most Wanted, so yes, if you're one of those perfectionists/play a game to death people, you might run through most of the content fairly quickly.But if you need a next-gen racing game that runs butter smooth with no lag, that improves on one of the best NFS games ever released, then NFS: Rivals is an outstanding choice.
No problems with my computer recognizing it and it reads and writes fast. I don't notice any lag with my games loading. I had bought this one because it was cheap, planning to replace it with an SSD later, but it's fast enough where I don't need to bother doing that. I'm really surprised at the quality for the price. Only time will tell if it lasts though, so far it's been working perfectly though.
Small 2TB HDD with read/write about 120/120, usually around 80/110 when copying large files. USB male end of cord means it plugs into anywhere, great use as a video streaming medium between a workstation and a laptop (I can hold entire Netflix seasons on here!) Overall, great mega USB and a great find for about $20-25 per TB if you can get them used. Phenomenal gift for the tech person in your family! Its hard not to love larger, faster, and more versatile storage capacity than even a USB 3.1
Pros: This is WD's basic external hard drive for those that want to manually copy the files they want, when thy want, an easy process for many that prefer this over using backup software. I have purchased several refurbished models (3) from the WD factory store and all worked flawlessly and the price is right. Cons: Really the only one is that the formatting used does not work on the old XP OS, The drive can be reformatted to an older version (ie exfat) that is not as good. I forgot that and was frustrated trying to copy some large files from an old computer. Really not the drives fault that they moved on to a newer and better format. I left it as is and used a different method since it works fine on Windows 7 on up.
