I bought this model cooktop specifically for asian stir fry ie after reading that it has a high MJ/BTU output. The flame on inner ring of the wok burner is way too low. The food on the edges get burnt and yet the food at the bottom of the wok is not even heated up. In addition, it is a nightmare to keep the surface streak free.

Don’t buy this product; it’s the worse cooktop I have ever had. I have only been using it for 10 months and it already looks like I had it for 5 years. It’s a nightmare to clean and the quality of the ceramic glass is substandard; bubbles under the glass started to form just after 2 months and there are other patches that look like rust that are impossible to wipe off; it’s all building up within the glass. I want to get rid of it now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this cooker for around a month and so far so good, love the flame select feature. Also, there’s a signal telling you that burner area is still hot after switching burner of. Though I wouldn’t mind “tweaking” a few things on this cooker. E.g. Dials should be on the far right side instead of in the front as it takes up valuable pot space. Also burners don’t ignite with 1 ignition click, you need to hold it down for a few seconds.

This black Neff gas cooktop has lots of advantages: easy to clean, powerful WOK burner and looks stunning. The WOK burner, we use regularly for Asian style cooking. We clean the Neff with a sponge with a little bit of dishwashing liquid, then wipe it with a soft cloth - and it looks like brand new. We have the NEFF for about one year. It adds a luxury looks to the kitchen.

Black glass top a little difficult to clean around control knobs (previous cooktop was an induction with black glass - easier) but a lot cheaper to run than an induction for us.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best way to get a streak free cooktop is to use a vinegar and water cleaning solution! One part vinegar to two parts water. I stumbled upon this solution as I used the solution to clean my kitchen cabinets which have a 2 pac coating. This solution is perfect for both jobs. Try it yourself :)
