I got a daith piercing and my piercer suggested to use a spray wound wash to clean it. I had purchased one from her that worked great but it was a small bottle and it was expensive. So I went to Walmart and picked up this one because my piercer said any spray wound wash would work. For the first 3/4 of the bottle it didn’t spray. It just dribbled out. I tried to unclog it but nothing worked. Then one day it started spraying like crazy. I don’t know if I got a dud but I didn’t repurchase this for fear it wouldn’t work again.

Bought 2 cans. The first one had to be pushed down ridiculously hard to get a slight stream of saline to come out. The second was the total opposite. My test shot required minimal pressure on the nozzle and sprayed across the room in a high pressure stream like wasp spray. Since I'm currently battling a serious post-op infection, the first can is useless, and the second can would probably blast a hole through the incision! I think NeilMed needs to find not just some consistency in this product's manufacturing, but some definite middle ground between the two pressures. I want to clean the wound, not trickle saline into it or blast the sutures out!

The sprayer on mine doesn't work. Similar to another review I read here, I needed to push really had just to get some drops to come out. Forget about the claim to spray from any direction. Also, it feels like there is something solid inside of the product that gives it more weight. I'm not sure if that's normal. Doesn't seem like there is a lot of product. So it's a waste of money.

I've been using this product for a few months now to clean my piercings, and its been working great! I had issues with bumps on my cartilage piercings specifically that I wasn't able to get rid of until I was recommended this and other Nielmed products. The bumps are gone and my piercings are healing great! The only issue I've had so far is quality control with the spray nozzle. Sometimes I find that one bottle will be much more difficult to spray than my previous ones, and I have had to exchange previous bottles because of the nozzle completely snapping off. I will continue to buy this product since it does work well, but I'll probably have to continue to exchange every now and then due to the quality control.
I bought this to clean my new piercings and it did not disappoint! The only thing is it comes out in more of a stream than a spray, which I wish it would've been more like a spray but it's all good. lol So far, it hasnt run out either. I'm hoping it'll last but I'd definitely buy more. Totally worth the money!
I actually read the reviews when I brought this for a piercing of mines. It does squirt out a lot, so much that it caught me of guard. I sprayed the solution into the cap and followed up with a cotton swab and it’s working pretty well in my favor. Some people stated that it doesn’t have a stinging, however, I felt minor pain from my wound when I put the solution on. However, I have no complaints. I just wouldn’t want someone to expect this solution to work as a numbing solution when it’s doesn’t work like that. It does the job! Just try spraying in the cap and then using cotton swab or anything of your choice if you would like the solution to last longer.
I wasn't pleased that spraying it was so hard. However after cleaning my wound, I woke up in excruciating pain I never had before. I needed 2 oxycodone to relive the pain. I told my doctor today what happened and hethinks something else must have been added because I used another brand of normal saline and was fine. I would never recommend this product. The makers should look into how this product is made.
I got my ears pierced and the parlor I went to was selling this brand but a different spray bottle that’s $15. I Googled and saw this product that’s still the same brand but way cheaper. It’s been keeping my piercings cleans! The nozzle is stiff at first, but after pressing down and loosening it, it works just fine!
This has been great in helping me heal my ear piercings. I’ve had an issue with my piercings for a while now and every time I start feeling a bit of pain or like an infection is coming I clean my piercings with this and it helps so much. Sometimes I spray it directly on and other times I spray it on a q-tip first to clean the area. It definitely has helped speed up the healing process.
used hundreds of cans of this wound wash for a foot ulcer at the bottom of foot hard to heal. bought a new pair of shoes and banged my center toe and continued to use the wound wash with neosporin but swithed to neosporin cream from ointment, my center toe suddenly became smaller. within afew days rushed to skin doctor. she sent me to the hospital. hospital said osteomulytus. toe amputated . apparently wound wash does not kill most bacterias which i use a lot every day and recently exoerimented with another product isaw the hospital using. using the wound wash my toe became dead in days. 13 days in hospital and 6 weeks of antibiotics,
