It might seem obvious but after a days use I was bruised. So I loosened it off which was fine but I then felt I wasn’t getting the same support. A little more guidance on the package would have been useful.

Brilliant product for my husbands hernia. Originally had a medium but was a bit tight so ordered the large which is much more comfortable. Really pleased with this company excellent service and arrived very quickly

He praised the belt so I bought one and I am so glad that I did. It provides immediate relief and allows me to do most things that I did prior to my hernia developing. I walk & cycle a lot. I will wear it until that far off distant day comes when I might get my repair operation!!! (Dream on)!!! and I would really recommend this item and I'm so glad that I took the advice of a fellow sufferer.

Having reviewed the reviews, I agree that boxer type pants are needed. The under leg strap edge needs to be kept away from direct skin contact or there is a high risk of painful chafing. As I prefer Y fronts I am wearing boxers over those and then on with the belt. Once fitted it is only necessary to release the waistband for removal or lowering of the support belt. I find it comfortable and, whilst waiting for surgery, generally relieves or prevents pain from my inguinal hernia. No more having to place a hand over the area before coughing or sneezing!
This has proved to be a great help enabling me to carry out routine tasks without pain or discomfort. My only criticism is that I feel the strap that goes through the legs needs a longer strip of velcro on the end. I found if I threaded the strap through the loop there was nothing to attach it to. I have been forced to pass this strap over the main strap to find some velcro to make an attachment. Otherwise a very good product.

An excellent product but the sizing is somewhat confusing. I am a small person and though I ordered a medium size support it only just fitted. It seems the measurements are for the hip size and not the waist which should be made clear in the product description
Found quite uncomfortable. Ordered medium size. my waist measurement 98mm approx. You state enough play on belt rather than order larger size. I do not agree. Unable to fit pad in a comfortable position. Perhaps larger size would have been better but have resorted to my original Ortonyx support. My fault.
Initially this feels rather rigid but it softens with use. Experimentation is required to get the best from it in terms of support and comfort, including the best style of underwear. Don’t take the waist measurement as an absolute guide as I found an off the waist fitting worked best. The quality of the material is good but a larger piece of Velcro would improve the range of adjustments hence 4 star.
