Beware of the offer on at present though of 100 free capsules you have to go to the nespresso site to get it and they ask for proof of purchase in the form of a receipt which you don't get with Amazon. The capsules however on this machine are new therefore a lot more expensive than the older machines it works out over a pound a cup, which I think is expensive for home use. There are alternatives though which I'm exploring at the moment such as refilling the pods with my own ground coffee, I will update my review when I have had time to experiment with it. The coffee capsules are kinda expensive, however Nespresso always have some deals on their website plus free shipping on orders over $35. Plus the saying “you get what you pay for” is very true. I definitely recommend this coffee maker.

The great thing I love about this machine is that it is very compact and small. Great for people who don't have much bench space in their kitchen. it looks minimalistic. The performance of this machine is great. i have had mine for 5 years now and still running as good as it was new. Love that now you can buy nespresso compatible pods from the supermarket now. I also occasionally purchase the nespresso pods from the website. It is not very noisy and not all messy and very easy to use.

Broken after just a year and a half

I loved this machine! Unfortunately it’s broken after a year and a half. I was offered a discount on purchasing a new machine to replace it. After saving up for this, I expected it to last more than a year and a half. Or at least, I expected there would be a reasonable repair option available if it broke after the warranty. The only solution is to buy a new machine at a discount. The person I talked to on the phone about it was kind, but I was hoping for a better customer service solution. I’m hesitant to invest again in a new machine from Nespresso given the quality of what they’re creating. Hugely disappointed because i really enjoyed the machine and the milk frother.I wouldn’t buy this unless you can afford to replace it in a year and a half.

Frother stopped working

This was gifted to me last year. Frother slowly stopped working over the last 3 months. After calling customer service and using a video chat they asked me to put water in it and asked if it “warmed the water”, which it did (warm at best). But it also does not froth milk. I asked why I couldn’t put in milk to see how it doesn’t work. Then told me it could be the milk that was an issue? So every milk I ever bought in the past 3 months was unsuitable? I was then told they don’t offer a new frothed and I would have to buy a separate stand alone one.

I should have purchased this sooner!

This machine is great, perfect espressos and lungos everytime. The milk frother is excellent and has multiple functions. The capsules are cheaper than other brands and are widely accessible at either woolies or coles. Not to mention so many compatible alternate branded capsules are available that can be used with this machine. Nespresso also has a very wide selections. Very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended.

Makes the best cappuccino ever!!

I have always had the Citiz and milk machine, friends have gone to buy their Nespresso machines and have been talked into buying the Latissimo version. All have been disappointed as their coffee end result is not the same creamy version they tried at my place. It's happened to 3 of my family and friends they are not as happy with their machines. This is my 3rd machine, I have had the off white, cherry red and now the chrome. I discovered after I bought the chrome one that the red one can be repaired! Oh well, now I have 2 Citiz and milk, I couldn't imagine starting my day without my delicious coffee and Good Guys price made it easy and affordable buy the Chrome one!

Only lasted a bit over a year

The machine works great until it breaks. A couple of weeks after warranty ran out it started leaking water. After some troubleshooting which didn’t fix it I was informed that the machine can’t be repaired. Only option is to buy a new one. I get it that you make more money by having customers just buy new ones but where is the sustainability in that? So now I just throw the old on in the trash? I bought a new one but if this breaks I will look for a machine that offers repairs. Otherwise the Coffee that the machine makes taste great.

Perfect Espresso

I did a lot of research myself before I decided. Why I picked this one was I wanted something to press 1 button and make what I want and there are several out there, but the is another reason too. I wanted you use my own coffee and not but expensive pods. Some machines have barcodes on pods so you can't use a generic pod. So keep eye out for that.This was my pick it's quick quiet and no leaks from seals and gaskets.I use metal pods and get the coffee I want.Milk froth works well. Cold or walm ( walm could be hotter)Pros you can use metal reusable pods in this machine without modifying.Cons Milk frother could be hotter on the warm setting.Yes I recommended it if you like easy coffees.

Ridiculously good espresso & foam

I read every formal review of the Nespresso machines I could find. Every single one of them said something like "Yeah, it's okay, but not as good as REAL espresso."I've been doing my own at home for 30 years. For the last eight years I've had what's now a $3k Italian double boiler and a $1200 grinder. I have apparently spoiled my impossibly espresso picky wife, as she prefers my work against any we find here or in our travels.I've thought about trying a Nespresso machine simply because ANY time i fire up the big home system I've used up an hour from turn-on/heat up through cleanup. You need to pour the foam IMMEDIATELY as soon as the machine stops, but I'm sorry, it IS as good as what I can do on the double boiler machine.I hate to say it, but in the three weeks or so I've had this thing I've only fired up the big one once. The Nespresso is that good. The foamer is that good. AND you've got a single shot in just about a minute from cold start. If you like espresso (the "lungo" is good too) rather than regular coffee, do this.
