I saw this on the recommended safe sunscreen list and I’ve used their face specific sunscreen with no issue before. So I grabbed this for the trip to the Bahamas. Put it on right away. I burned so badly after 3hrs of early morning sun I can still hardly walk. My boys were fine, didn’t burn at all but my daughter and I did. Thankfully she was mostly covered with her swim suit but the few areas where skin did peak through she got pretty red too. I sat on the pool deck in a few inches of water watching my kids. Where my husband put this it was like I had nothing at all. My arms chest and face I used the neutrogena sensitive face and I did not burn. I should have tried this at home at the pool first. Lesson learned. Never had sun poisoning before but it is AWFUL.

I love this sunscreen. Of course, it's a little pricy for sunscreen. However its definitely worth every penny. It smells great, doesn't leave an oily residue. It definitely protects my skin, I burn easily. Plus, it's a great product for my skin. Doesnt clog my pores and it's long lasting. Of course, reapplication is a must.

This SPF is AMAZING! Firstly, I love how quickly is absorbs into the skin without feeling greasy. It smells so good too! Water-resistant for 80 mins, full broad spectrum protection of 70 SPF, free from oils, oxybenzone. Contains hydrating ingredients as well. So lightweight! I feel fully protected when wearing this. I sometimes forget to reapply often, but I noticed I am still protected after a few hours. Highly recommend, especially the one in the pump bottle!

Best out of 9 on our Mexico Family Beach trip

Our family of five recently went to Mexico for vacation. I packed 9 bottles of sunscreen, varying brands because I was not sure what works best or what we would like. This one BY FAR. A little goes a long way (which usually cannot say with sunscreen) and it absorbed quickly into the skin. The fragrance was not overpowering and I put on all three kids with no reaction. This was our families favorite sunscreen and I wish I would have only bought this (and I definitely would not have needed 9 bottles). Will purchase again and use this summer.

Best sunscreen I've ever used

I'm Irish and have very pale skin. I burn very easily and it's never pretty. Most of my summer weekends are spent on our pontoon boat or floating in a lake. I started using Neutrogena Beach Defense SPF70 a few years ago and will not use anything else now. This goes on so easily, doesn't feel greasy, doesn't smell but most of all it protects me from sunburn. I highly recomend this sunscreen. I also use Neutrogena Clear Face Break Out for my face.

Delightful

This is my favorite sunscreen. It smells delightful to say the least. It's light and slightly fruity. It's so pleasant, honestly, you won't mind smelling it. Truly intoxicating if you ask me! I hate the smell of other sunscreen. It gives me a headache and I hate how it lingers on your clothes to the point where you don't want to wear something a second time around even when it's perfectly clean and could be worn again before needing washed. Totally not a problem with this sunscreen. It is very smooth and applies easily. It dries very well leaving your skin feeling soft, not greasy or shiny at all. Minuses: 1. The Scent. I was expecting the typical sunscreen scent which I kind of like. What I got was a cloying flowery scent, reminded me of a Freesia body lotion that my GF used to wear when we first met and that I hated. Why would they go this smell? Are they trying to alienate male customers who don't like flowery scents? 2. It turned white. After swimming, I noticed that my legs and chest had turned white! It came off once I dried, but it doesn't seem to be very water resistant. I had to apply a lot more once dried. On the plus side, I'm happy that is oxybenzone free, and that it did protected me somewhat. But for a 70 it wasn't any better than the Coppertone 30 that I was using previously. I love every about this sunscreen because I’m able to enjoy sunny weather without that uncomfortable feeling of my skin frying, however…..on dark skin this makes the color on my face look very flushed out with a white cast, even if I do rub it in real good. If you’re a black woman and you want something that will protect your skin from the sun well, this is a great product but it comes at the price of the white cast still. Haven’t tried this product with makeup but honestly after seeing how it looks on my bare face, I think that I will stick this one out.

Scented but it’s nice, moisturizing and protecting skin, suitable for dry, but not sure about sensitive skin! Has a white cast but not too noticeable! Good size! Good quality! Smells nice! Fruity smell! It’s suitable for everyday use! Feels light, still a little bit greasy tho. But it does protect and care about skin in the sun! Don’t put on your face if you have acne prone skin!
