My regular brand of sunscreen was discontinued, so I'm shopping for a replacement that is non-comodogenic, fragrance free, SPF 15-30, etc. I purchased this Neutrogena Clear Face oil-free, break-out free, SPF-30 sunscreen today. And my hands were then so dry, I couldn't believe it -- worse than using acetone or paint thinner without wearing gloves. After fifteen minutes of "wearing" this sunscreen, I gave up. It took about fifteen minutes of scrubbing with hot soapy water, followed by a moisturizing face cleanser, to remove this Neutrogena product. A half hour later, my face and neck are still red. Guess what? I look like I'm sunburnt, and I haven't even been out in the sun! Never again.

I was thrilled to try the Neutrogena Clear Face Breakout Free Sunscreen in SPF 50! My face can tend to be quite sensitive and I can get blemishes from using pore clogging sunscreens. This is an amazing facial sunscreen which is oil free. I can confidently say it has protected my pale skin and hasn’t caused a single breakout. It’s got a very nice weightless, matte finish which doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on my face. It also sits nicely under makeup, so it’s easy to work into my skincare routine. It has a subtle scent, but I assume it comes from the ingredients that are used, there is no perfumes added, and once applied it is not sticky at ALL! It dries very fast and leaves my skin feeling and looking smooth. I will say there is a slight white cast when using, however since my skin is more fair it does not cause issues, however keep in mind if you have a deeper skin tone it may not be your ideal choice. Also, the most important part- it works. It's so hot right now in Southern California. So. HOT. We're spending a lot of time outdoors and having to reapply sunscreen. Normally, that leads to congested skin. And breakouts. Prior to switching to Neutrogena Clear Face, I was using a different mineral based sunscreen on my face. I had just started battling breakouts (particularly around my mouth and chin area.) After switching to Neutrogena Clear Face, these eruptions ceasesd. Most importantly, my skin has been protected. I have not suffered any kind of burning from the sun. I will be using Clear Face again today, The sun is already beaming brightly here at 7:34 AM. It's gonna be another scorcher.

Neutrogena Clear Face oil-free sunscreen is exactly what my skin needed this summer! I love that it was created with my face and skincare in mind. I can finally keep my ageless skin breakout free. This product is oil-free, 50 SPF, dermatologist recommended, fragrance free, oxybenzone free, water resistant, and non-comedogenic. If you're a skincare lover, this is the sunscreen for you! When applying I really love how thin and lightweight it is. It spreads very easily making a little bit go a long ways. It is clear and does not leave that greasy residue that sunblock typically leaves. It also did really well with my sensitive eyes - not leaving them stinging. I am happy to wakeup to a breakout free face that is protected from the sun. Get this, your skin will thank you!
