[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] This cream is so hydrating! Unlike my previous night creams, this one goes on smooth and feels more like a gel. A little really does go a long way. My skin feels like it absorbs the moisture overnight. I've used it for 2 weeks and feel the difference. Coming out of winter, my face felt tight and clogged up. The Hydro Boost lives up to its name, it hydrated my face and my skin feels more plump. The cream itself feels light and is absorbed quickly. Overall I'm happy with the results and will switch over to this cream as my regular night cream.

Disappointed to find that Neutrogena had changed the Hydro Boost Night Cream formula and included fragrance. The previous gel-cream like formulation with vitamin E beads was fantastic. Unfortunately, my skin is easily irritated and eczema prone and so the fragrance in this new formulation aggravates my skin. Has a very strong fragrance. If you are not sensitive to fragrance, you may like this product. Has a smooth texture, much like the hyaluronic day cream. Sinks in nicely and is moderately nourishing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I used the neutrogina hydro boost night cream every night, and the texture is actually so nice and hydrating on the face. I wake up in the morning still feeling fresh and hydrated. I honestly can say I actually love this product. I use it during the day also if I need that extra boost of moisture to my skin and I was super surprised that it makes my makeup stay on longer and doesn’t make me oily during the day. This is now my go to moisturiser

Burning
26 September 2024

I used this product once and my skin immediately turned bright red and started burning/ felt hot. I washed my face immediately but the redness and irritation lingered. I came to the reviews to see if other people shared this problem and I was shocked to read so many people had the same reaction.I also wonder if this product formulation is incorrect and needs to be recalled if this many people are reacting poorly.

Glitter in this product
11 March 2024

Thought I loved this product for about a month. I have very sensitive skin so it's hard to find a good moisturizer. This one scanned 100% on Yuka and is noncomedogenic so I figured it was great. However, I bought a new jar a last week and started getting dry, flaky patches of excema all over my face. I also have noticed tiny specs of glitter but I thought maybe it was makeup. So I just put it all over my (clean) hands and they immediately started BURNING and broke into a blotchy rash. It felt like micro cuts, how it feels when I wear super glittery eyeshadow. So I took a video with flash, and sure enough teeny tiny specs of shiny micro plastics flashing back at me. GLITTER. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Will not repurchase. This is EVIL NEUTROGENA!!!!! NOBODY WANTS ... MoreThought I loved this product for about a month. Irritated my skin!
8 March 2024

I never have any reactions to face creams or any products, never considered to have sensitive skin at all. BUT with this cream my skin was itchy and had a burning sensation on the very first day i wore it!! I had to wash my face to get off asap and the irritation lasted a while! I had never had this happened!and I've tried a couple of face creams over the past few years. I will be returning and not buying again. I wanted to think this was just me and my skin but after reading reviews i see this has happened a several people. This is not good at all, maybe they should recall the product to see why many people are having this reaction??!

Not like the old formula!
27 June 2024

I have worn the hydroboost creme (not water gel) for years. This new formula feels more oily than the old and I have to almost scoop it out and use more than the old formula. It doesn't have the same texture and smoothness. It just isn't the same. Also, much smaller container for same or more cost. So disappointed in this new formula. Really hope they will bring back the gel creme.
