Literally every single time I have attempted makeup wipes, they have left my face irritated and tingling/burning. Especially around my eyes. I have used so many different brands so I gave up and just stuck with my Philosophy brand cleanser. My cleanser is good but not convenient for when I get home from working my long shifts. Some of them broke me out, some seemed adequate after several rounds of wiping but still didn’t seem to do the job, but all seemed to require me to scrub at my eyes to actually remove my mascara and “stay all day” eyeliner. I persisted and thought nothing of it for years. As I got a bit older, and had a child or two, I noticed that I began losing an eyelash or two here and there and that suddenly my lashes weren’t as full, and slowly they got thinner and thinner. I realized I needed to figure out ASAP what was wrong or I’d have a serious conundrum. After doing some research, I found out that waterproof mascara wasn’t ideal for your lash health, and that scrubbing at your eyes to remove your mascara (even non waterproof) was even less conducive to that beautiful, thick lash look I once had. I immediately switched to a gentler, buildable mascara (LOVE YOU Lancôme Lash Idole, although I hated you at first… that “buildable” part is key!), and tried to find a gentler way to remove my eye makeup. I tried several tried and true “gentle” formulas, but continued to need to scrub at my eyes no matter the mascara I used. I ended up running out of the one I had thought was the best I was going to find while on vacation, and my only option was a drug store. I panicked and grabbed my old trusted remover, those blasted Neutrogena Makeup Remover Ultra-Soft Cleansing Towelettes. Annnd I’ve been using them since, I don’t need to scrub at my eyes like I did with any of the previous makeup removing products I tried, one to three swipes over my entire face and it’s done. No breakouts, no residue, and so important to me: no continued lash loss (although I partly credit that to finding a mascara that worked well for me, the right makeup remover makes such a big difference on how much pulling and stress you put on your lashes.) I’m sold, and won’t be switching again

These are amazing !!! I LOVE to do crazy makeup looks just for fun all the time so I always need to have makeup wipes with me. I ordered these because my old ones burnt my eyes (Yes to cucumbers). First thoughts were that they arrived on time and in perfect condition. First time I used one of these wipes it was to remove a LOT of makeup and these definitely did the trick! It didn’t take a lot to remove all the makeup just soft swipes and one wipe removed all of the makeup. These are very gentle on the eyes so I didn’t experience any type of burning which is great since I have very sensitive skin! I really like the towelettes they get all my makeup off but worth that being said sometimes I need an extra one to get the leftover mascara off. There is enough dampness to the towelettes without having to squeeze out the extra product in the bottom of the package. I can find these at any drug store or at places that sell Neutrogena products. It is pricier that some of the other brands but personally I feel as if they work better and there isn't extra liquid in the final few towelettes. My only issue is the packaging, I feel like I can't get a good seal after opening. I don't have an answer for this unless maybe a zip lock was used, but that can sometimes be very hard to reseal or unfortunately one side pulling off the package. I used to use these back in the day, but with all the pulling and tugging on my skin… I was determined to find an alternative. Also, they’re not great for the environment. I tend to wear waterproof mascara, so I needed something that worked really well and didn’t take forever to come off. I discovers micellar water made for water proof mascara. It was good, but I was looking for better. My go-to now, a cleansing balm or cleansing oil. THIS was a game changer for me. My skin looked better because I was double cleansing and the waterproof mascara literally melted away without any pulling and tugging of my skin. Your girl is not trying to get premature wrinkles. You know?? Lol

I love that the wipes are made by and recommend by dermatologist. The wipes come in a reseal pack and stay very moist until you are ready to use them again. These wipes are really soft and one wipe can take off all your makeup or remove dirt and grime from your face. My skin just loves me using the wipes and doesn't irritate my skin at all. I think these wipes are great for people with sensitive skin. They seem to have a soft fragrance smell. So if these wipes bother your eyes you need to get some that are fragrance free. A Problem-Solving, Quality Product

This product is absolutely perfect for a few specific uses in my life: one is for keeping in our camper trailer, where space is at a premium. I just pack enough for our camping trip in a little basket that holds other items as well. The product stays fresh until I need to use it, even with storing the camper in extreme heat and cold. The second use I have is for our guest bathroom. Nobody wants to have makeup stains on their washcloths, so providing these for guests is a real boon. They work very well, taking off mascara, staining lip color, eyebrow color, and more. You can even get use out of both sides of the cloth, in my experience.

Great for travel, not great for removing makeup

I typically use the liquid oil free makeup remover from this same brand, which works amazingly, so I had hoped these would also be really good. They are small and perfect for traveling since they aren’t a liquid. However, I was sorely disappointed that they just don’t really work all that well. With several passes across my face I could see that it was taking off some foundation, but even after 10 wipes on my eye makeup it did not get most of it off. It got SOME of it off at best and I found myself still having to use my liquid remover to get the rest off. Won’t be purchasing these again. Would be great if they would use a formula that works similarly to their liquid makeup removers.

I love the Neutrogena makeup wipes, just like everybody I grew up on them. I was looking around for some individually packaged wipes for both travel, and for stocking up my gym bag. I came across these and for the low price that they were knew that I had to have them. They are the exact same wipes that you get when you buy the full package, I appreciate that they didn't make them smaller because I hate when a makeup wipe is so small that you have to use two. They remove makeup decently well, but I also use them just as a refresher when I'm sweaty after working out, and sometimes even in the middle of a workout, it's a really nice refresher. My SO also likes to use them, he always says that they smell really nice.
