If you want to get rid of acne spots quick, this is your best bet. I have been buying this scrub for years. Any time I’ve noticed a bump on my face starting to come up, I use this scrub to stop it. If you have acne spots already, this will dry them up in no time. It’s not too abrasive and the scent isn’t too strong. It leaves your skin silky smooth as well. I highly recommend if you have acne issues.

My skin cleared up within a week of using this face wash. I have very sensitive skin and can usually ONLY use products with no perfume or fragrance or harsh chemicals and this product does have salicylic acid and a slight fragrance and does not bother my skin. So glad I came across this face wash. Have already purchased my 3rd bottle. Also I sometimes use the face wash as my mask and I allow the product to sit on my face for about 15 to 30 minutes and then I rinse it off. I use it as a mask about twice a week. Either way it works for me!! So happy about my skin finally! I am 36 with cyclical acne, but NOT ANYMORE!!!!!

This scrub is good to use for acne maybe 2 times a week. Anymore than that, it makes my face dry and irritated. Overall it does an okay job. I have been using it for over a year on and off in between other face washes and it doesn't really do much for my acne. The ingredients in it look a bit sus. Salicylic acid is great for acne, however whatever else is in this product may not be so great. It also has a weird over powering smell. If you are looking for a back up acne scrub this is okay but for long term use, it may not do too much for your face. It's not the worst out there but I would probably recommend something else.

If you have sensitive skin, I would not recommend using this product for daily use. It works well as an occasional scrub and leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed, but the salicylic acid can be overly drying with repeated use. I find it works better when I use it 1-2 times a week as an exfoliator rather than a daily face wash. As for my acne, I haven't really been able to tell a huge difference from using this product - a leave-on salicylic acid treatment would probably have better results.

I've been using this cleanser for the past 7 years after my dermatologist recommended it for me. I have dry skin with occasional breakouts that would leave scars for so long. This is a gentle cleanser, and it isn't really good at removing makeup to be honest, especially mascara. However because it is gentle, it doesn't leave my skin feeling scaly or tight or dry after each use. It also has salicylic acid which helps keep my breakouts under control

Some time ago I used this product, I was totally unaware of the basic rules of skincare. He did not suffer from acne or pimples, he was only quite greasy and that is why he used this scrub every time he had a lot of fat a serious mistake. It gave me a lot of dryness on my face because I started using it on the way in winter. Didn't use moisturizer a mess. Of course, most of the mistakes were my fault and not because the brand is bad. Even so I found it quite aggressive for my skin type. Anyway, one day I would give it another chance because I love Neutrogena and skincare (and I already know the basic rules of skincare) haha

So thick. It should be names as daily scrub. Not at all beneficial to my oily skin. Felt too harsh too skin due to its big scrubber. Face scrubber must be gentle. Also it feel like cream. While washing with water there is also some part left on my face like near nose near eyes which doesn’t wash off with splash of water . You need to scrub and wash and rub again with fingers to completey get rid off. I love this brand but this product is my least favourite

CHEMICAL BURN/ALLERGIC REACTION?

I have been using the Grapefruit scrub for YEARS. Out of stock - so opted for the Oil-Free Acne Wash Daily Scrub. I have missed work, events, took multiple trips to the doctors office and am now on prednisone & multiple shots due to the chemical burn on my eyelids. When I woke up this morning I couldn't even open my eyes due to the swelling. Even if you have been using their products as long as I have, be sure to test patch on the inner arm. My eyes are now flaking and peeling & super painful. Neutrogena can reach out to me for pictures.

This is my go to daily scrub as it consistently delivers the results I'm after! I can actually see and feel the difference as it gently and effectively removes dead skin from my face, quite well! I definitely notice how flakey and dry my skin gets if I skip a day of use. Just take care not to mistakenly get some near your eyes as the tiny beads could easly get rinsed or rubbed into your eyes, and my word is that not an enjoyable experience!
