I love that this concealer not only cover blemishes but also treats them thanks to the salicylic acid which dries out pimples. My skin is oily so it doesn’t hurt my skin at all but make sure you’re only targeting the pimple! I got the Buff 09 which is a bit lighter than my skin but it works great. An inexpensive concealer that does a good job and it’s perfect for any pimple emergency! The only thing I didn’t like so much was the applicator. I would rather use a makeup blender that I can wash. But still recommended.

I don’t like using heavy coverage products so when I do have a blemish, I want to use a product that heals it while calling as little attention to it as possible. This does it. I tap it on the blemish after I apply my tinted moisturizer and setting powder and blends in perfectly while reducing swelling and drying it out. Sometimes less is more and this is a perfect example. I always have one in my make up bag.

This is by far the best makeup for people who are prone to breakouts. It covers blemishes while actually treating them at the same time. MoSt makeup clogs my pores and the more I use it the more I am prone to breakouts. But this neutrogena skin clearing makeup brand helps to treat blemishes while helping to hide them at the same time. I LOVE this product! I've searched high and low and tried every makeup on the market.. but my search was immediately over when I found this makeup. I will never switch again. And the variety of tones as well as the very easy to use applicators and brushes that the makeup comes in makes it so much easier to pack an overnight makeup bag or to just drop in my purse for touchups. LOVE IT!

This concealer has been working great to cover up marks from my hormonal acne! The applicator is simple to use as well! I just dab a little on my mark let it sit for just a little bit and then blend it in using my fingertips or a brush. I also really like the price of this product compared to the higher end brands of concealer. This works just as good and for a way less amount! Win- win!

I have used these sticks for spot treatment in the past. The colors are very nice and natural (I have used several based on seasonal needs) and the formula is sheer enough that it blends pretty seamlessly with foundations and other concealers. I really like the idea of treating blemishes and other imperfections with my makeup, but this formula does contain salicylic acid which can be overly drying for some skin types.

05 fair kind of orange. Blends ok

I was surprised by how dark it was. using a round tipped sponge brush I blended it into my skin a little better but I do wish the brand made a lighter color. When used with nuetrogena powder foundation in lightest shade the color of this concealer blends decently over red marks, wouldn't use around my eyes though because of how orange it is.

Great concealer for Acne

This concealer with salicylic acid covers/masks red pimples well and has helped reduce the severity of the pimples. It stays on for the whole duration of a school day. Also wash off well with cleanser.Of note is that the color FAIR is surprisingly darker than the color BUFF and there is limited color options.Overall, this Neutrogena Blemish Concealer with SA is working really well for my teenager. I highly recommend.

My Everyday Concealer

I have been using this concealer for six to seven years now. Unfortunately, my acne has gotten worst thanks to my crazy hormones, so the concealer doesn't do a perfect job of covering up the cystic ones, butI use it for the salicylic acid component. I also dab a bit on my blemishes and it does a decent job of reducing the dark spots and scars on my face. The thinner consistency of this concealer does allow for easier blending, however, as mentioned by most of the reviewers below, it doesn't do the best job of hiding the imperfections. Another thing I will note is that by the end of the day, the area where I applied the concealer dries out completely and cracks...so it looks like I have scaly skin! Reaction to concealer

I am picky about the products I use on my face which is why i only use neutrogena makeup. But i have bought the concealer multiple times and every time i use it my pimples get worse. Swollen red and painful. I do not have this issue when i use other concealers. I wash my face with soap and water only. There is no reason I should be having a reaction. Literally for a week or two after using it my face is broke out baddddd. I do not recommend this particular product but i do highly recommend the pressed foundation & waterproof mascara. Just be careful closing the lid on the mascara it breaks very easily and will cause product to dry out faster.

Use and results.

I've been using the concealer for over 20 years, I'm now 74. My face has always had issues with dark spots, and blemishes. My routine is washing my face once a day before going to bed, applying a toner, Josie Maran's Argan Reserve then the concealer under eyes, and where ever I have redness issues. Over time my skin looks better today than ever before. This concealer is not expensive and one tube goes a long way. I use the 09, buff color, being vary fair skinned. Can't recommend this product enough!
