Very happy with this retinol. Pleased with the smell. He's coffee.I've been using it for over a month now and my skin is much clearer. Rashes appear less and less, subcutaneous acne came out. Only acne marks remained. Now I lighten them with vitamin C.I apply in the evening after basic skin care. Then I wait 15-20 minutes for it to soak in. Then I apply moisturizer.The only thing I do not recommend is to apply every day if you have not used retinol products before. This is not an aggressive retinol, but do not forget about moisturizing.Good luck to everyone in the fight for healthy skin

I have not really used this product for long so I don’t know any difference, but have done a patch test on the back of my elbows just to check first if my skin can handle it. Well, I felt a slight, fleeting stinging sensation, but nothing too uncomfortable. The area felt dry afterwards so moisturizing is a must. This is normal according to the label on the package though. I have also applied it on my back, hoping it can eradicate back acne. Did not feel any sting at all. Hopefully, this product together with the liquid exfoliating treatment can give me clearer skin and fewer breakouts.

It’s not advertised as such but be aware that this is a Retinol serum. Albeit a gentle option but the main ingredient that will tackle hyperpigmentation is retinol indeed. if you’re new to the world of retinoids, it’s a great serum, with 0.03% retinol, it’s perfect to start with. But if you use this every night straight away, it could be too irritating for your skin. I followed all the dermatologist’ recommendations and used it once a week for 2/3 weeks, then twice a week for 3 weeks and I’m now on 3 times a week. I’m pleased because I have never experienced any irritations. As for my dark PIH marks, they have slowly disappeared (I used this alongside others tyrosinase inhibitors). My skin changed dramatically over the month- could be stress- not wearing enough SPF. My skin broke out and had darkening brown spots on my skin. My regular face wash wasn’t work- pigmentation I thought I needed a bleaching cream. Then I saw this and tried it. I used the Stubborn wash and night cream- I did not get the am cream. The box said there will be a stinging sensation/ redness for about couple of days and would see results in about a 2week. I used this religiously, I did have stinging up until this point and redness when I applied the night cream, but only for a couple of minutes thereafter. The box said to discontinue if it persists-I never discontinued because after about two weeks I saw results. Acne/ acne scares cleared. Thats even despite working some shifts and sleep deprivation thrown in there!Can't say if it's specifically this product; whether its the combo with clyndoxyl, or the combo of sea buckthorn oil, but something is finally working. Might post another review if I'm able to wean off the clindocyl gel successfully in a month.
Honestly, I'm not sure if I should even be writing this because it's only been 2-3 nights of using this, however, I'm not breaking out anymore. I break out almost every day on random parts of my face. This morning, I've noticed stubborn pimples that have been on my face for a while are gone. The marks almost seem to be fading but obviously I'll have to check back in a couple months to make a more accurate review! I'm happy so far. No bad side effects for me :) just stubborn pimples finally going away. I don't use anything for my acne besides the am spot treatment and moisturizer

I would have given it all five stars if it would have smell a little better. It smells really weird (chemical smell) which goes off in few minutes but the cream works like magic. I had many stubborn marks on my chick and chin which genrally take months to get rid of and by that time new marks pop up because of acne. But this cream made all my stubborn marks disappeared in four days literally. Thought the package says apply it twice a week I used it all days a week. After five days of application my skin has a little burning sense so I have decided to apply it twice a week from now since all marks have disappeared.

I have both the AM and PM treatment. Both work well, but I stopped using the other one to simply use this one for my acne scars. I had recently stopped using all active products to help my skin barrier, after this break I started using Adapelene products that made my skin very irritated. I was upset because I had hoped for a product that could help my heavy acne scars. I turned to this product again, and only used it at night. I have oily skin, and yes, this product makes me feel even more oily. I simply tie my hair up and put it on my face to avoid it touching my hair when I sleep. When I wake up every morning I always see improvement in one way or another, which is why I have stuck to this product only, besides my cleanser.
