I have had arthritis for most of my life which has caused my left foot to be smaller than my right by a half size, and my ankle makes it tough to find a comfortable, supportive, but not pressuring fit. I was interested in purchasing the Tiago as I tried it on at a local store and it was a great fit for my feet (which is tough to find given my ankle issues) in the size that fit each foot. I chatted in to see if there was anything NB could do in terms of buying mismatched size, BOGO, or any discount at all if i bought two pairs of same shoe, and they were completely unwilling to help. Wish i could have bought this shoe as it looks great and is actually surprisingly supportive for a skate shoe that still sits low and is flatter than a regular sneaker.
You think with a chunky, wide looking shoe it would be perfect for wide feet like me. Nope, the insole is deceptively skinny and very uncomfortable if you foot is wide. Somehow this shoes runs too small and too large at the same time. Awesome looking shoe, terrible fit. Very disappointed
I have 4 pairs of other Tiago's that fit well, they're comfortable. I purchased the white/cream/blue pair and they were extremely uncomfortable to the point where it hurt just by putting my foot in. I walked all day in my other pair and had no problem. So, I purchased another pair of the white/cream/blue and they were worse and fit narrower at the toe box. I definitely feel like NB is losing it's quality control. I wish it wasn't that way, because many big brands are absolutely trash in quality. NB, please stick to the comfort and quality!
They fit tighter than other NB but not sure about sizing down as that would be too much excess room in length. After wearing for 8 consecutive hours the outside ridge of my foot was hurting so I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to skate them. Otherwise they seem well-cushioned.
Good looking shoe feels good on the feet. True to size. A little puffier than I'd like but not too much. Takes a while to break in but that just shows the level of quality of the product. These will definitely last longer than adidas and honestly they look better than most other skate shoe options on the market right now. Just buy them, look good and sesh hard
After the small break in period these are the best shoes I've ever skated! I can skate or walk around these all day and my feet never hurt. Flip tricks are very on point with these I have every color way in this model except the first one all true to size for me. Will for ever support tiagos and new balance skate shoes 💙 #skatersupportingskaters
I love these shoes. I have 4 pairs. They skate great, they look great, they're comfortable all day. Make more colors, especially with white midsoles. I need to fill more characters for the minimum length, so how about a gore tex waterproof pair, a lux brown leather pair, and a navy suede?
