The 1906R is probably one of my favorite models right now. I'm absolutely obsessed with them, they're super comfortable and I love how you can style them. I use them for everyday shoes and the quality is amazing. They definitely are my most worn sneaker in my collection.

I bought this pair after trying on several pairs because I need a very good arch support and good soles because I'm an outdoors person who works and plays on my feet. 12k to 16k steps a day. These are very comfortable and they look great too. You can wear them anywhere and any day of the week.

I have to disagree with the people saying these run "small". They don't run small, the N Lock system just provides additional support in the mid foot that people aren't used to. Just loosen the laces! I have wide feet and these still fit true to size. Possibly the most comfortable pair of NB's I own.
I love the look of these shoes. First wore them with no socks and they felt great. I usually wear minimalist, barefoot type of shoes. I like a wide toe box. These fit well and are roomy in the toe box. I wear a 9 in all other shoes, but these I bought an 8.5. Perfect fit. I suggest downsizing .5
Overall a great shoe, easy to pair up with normal/minimalist/vintage clothing, very neutral cushioning, size runs slightly narrow, I usually go with size 9 with NB shoes, and this one feels somewhat snug, but it is not a dealbreaker tho, the mesh has decent elasticity so Im not bother to exchange. I would recommend sizing up half if you have wider feet.
These shoes are cool, light, and comfortable to walk in. The 1906R has not become very popular yet, so I think it will stand out when I wear it. I have nothing to say about comfortable. If there is one drawback, the laces are cheap.I'd like to mention about the size too. Several people have told me I need to go half sizes up because these shoes a little narrow than other new balance shoes. In fact, these shoes were as narrow as the 991 or 1500 made in UK. However, I think it was good to be the same size as usual. A large mesh is used, so my foot would not be squeezed.
I'm not sure whats happened to New Balance over the last couple years. The styling on these is killer, on par with some of the best speakers out there right now, but as a 240 lb person, the foam is not it. Fresh Foam used to be killer. Its like the changed the ingredients a couple years ago and it hasn't been the same. The shoes themselves are so thin. The stitching is nice but besides that the quality seems lacking
colors are so versatile and go with everything. I was sad because I usually wear a woman's 9 which was sold out. I have a narrow foot... So I didn't think sizing up was an option. Read the reviews and everyone was saying size up half a size. So glad I did ! Because 9.5 was in stock. They fit great and extremely comfy.
+ They are comfortable- The grey rubber portion of sole just looks dirty right out of the box.- As others have commented, these shoes make a lot of noise, not from tread on the ground but from inside. My left shoe makes a horrible squeaking sound every step, I never would have bought these if I knew how bad it was. Really unacceptable, last time I buy NB!
