I had this model years ago and was sad when they were discontinued. I waited years and suddenly they were reintroduced through an artist collaborative vision. Bryant Giles came out swinging. I wanted a mule so I can slide on a off quickly and these were just that. I own a couple of 990v3's and assuming the mule is like the shoe these are so much comfortable. So impressed with quality and comfort! Also great design!!

I love these! They are super fresh and comfortable! I can wear these with everything I have! I want the other pair in the evergreen color too!
I'm very happy with my purchase! I love my shoes! I look forward to putting them on every morning because I've made them my every day shoes. I feel special wearing shoes that are graced with my grandnephew's artwork. Normally I'd never pay as much money for a pair of sneakers but I did because of him and I'm so glad I did. I definitely will be buying New Balance shoes again. They are worth the money!
The collaboration here is unmatched. Bryant Giles creative mind alongside the support and silhouette of the the 2002r is a match made in heaven. As an artist, having a shoe you can easily slip on and off I'm the studio or at home or even at the grocery store is great. My only complaint about the shoe is that there aren't more color ways. Moral of the story: if you have the chance to buy these, but them, you won't be disappointed. I even hung the box on my wall as a piece of art.
NB quality never needs to be stated. Really cool to see them introduce new silhouettes through the lens of black creators. My first ever mule, comfort & style are on point with these.
Nice shoes but a bit small. I should've ordered half a size larger. Removing the insoles help fit better.Overall, the quality is great and the art is awesome.
I have never been a big fan of any type of slip on shoe. Since my wife and i have had a baby she makes me take my shoes off when entering the house. Now I put on 2002 mule for the house only. Thanks you NB for saving me.
I ordered a pair of shoes. I have ordered the same size for 20+ years. This time the shoe didn't fit, for whatever reason. I went to return and was told I couldn't do to it being a special edition. Though it was no where for me to be found on the website, it appeared three pages in, in tiny type. While "free returns" appears on just about every page. I'm down with NB, not because I don't like their shoes but because I don't like its business practices. I shouldn't have to talk to 4 levels of staff to get a rightfully owed return. With so many choices, one can only indicate disagreement with a company's policy by going anywhere.
