These are very cute! Annoying to keep clean, but I knew what I was getting into giving my preschooler such light shoes. I don't love the closure. It works but it's very cumbersome and overall very meh. Only one star off for that though, because it works and the shoes are overall cute and comfy.

Great shoes! Both my 11 and 5 year old got a pair before a big trip of hiking and walking and neither one complained another their feet hurting (and they would let me know if they hurt!!). I love that the 5 year old version is Velcro and not slip on.

Bought these as from the pictures they look white and black , however , picture doesn’t show they are more beige with black .The black detail at the back great for driving , as doesn’t show the marks/dirt .I have had lots of compliments.Though I did want a white pair , I am pleased with them they look good with jeans or dresses . I am a size 7 .

It’s a stylish shoe and I appreciate new balance for making extra wide shoes but the way this shoe velcros is not ideal for toddlers. These shoes were not functional within a few weeks of having them bc my son runs around and the Velcro constantly comes undone causing him to slip out of them
They are cute but not practical. They are way too narrow for a toddler and I don’t know what I was thinking spending $50 on shoes he can’t even walk in. He has to crawl in these because they are so narrow he loses his balance. Do not get for a baby that’s walking.
The velcro quality is TERRIBLE and doesn't stay closed. These shoes are a terrible design. Why did they change it from just being a pull on. These shoes are such a waste of money because they will never get worn as they fly open and off my daughters feet when she runs. Whoever thought this design was a good idea needs to go. Honestly I did not catch that these were "updated" to have this cheap velcro when I was buying online or else I would never have purchased. We gave them a chance bc after all they are new balance and 327s are the best but this velcro version is awful. Avoid these shoes!
The velcro top does not stay on. I bought these shoes for my son who needs a secure shoe for inserts we got from a PT. I studied the description of the shoe and specfically bought shoes that were lace up. Not only are they not lace up, the entire front of the shoe is velcro. We were going to make it work but will no longer be using the shoe because from the beginning the velcro has not stayed attached and the shoe comes loose off of his feet. We do not recommend this shoe to anyone.
I love the look of these! We ordered a wide size which is a great width in the toe box. However, the ankle is too wide and the way the Velcro closure is lined up it can’t really be adjusted. They are super cute and we will probably keep them since it’s a pain to return, but I’m disappointed that the ankle is so loose.
I usually love NB toddler shoes and my kid does too, but the velcro doesn't hold very well, there is not enough velcro contact to hold the shoe in place and it consequently falls off a lot and doesn't stick in place very well. I will seek other styles in the future, these are hard to use.
I was toying with the idea of cutting some New Balance for a while after the cost had been putting me off.I can usually buy Junior size 5 trainers and was so disappointed that you seemed to have to size up in this style. After receiving a voucher I treated myself to these and I’m so glad I did. The size 6 fit like a glove straight the way and no need to ‘wear’ them in. Took them away in my baby-moon with me for daytime sturdy walking and they did not disappoint
