The colorway of the shoe is gorgeous in person and very versatile. BUT, I am very disappointed with Hibbett for their lack of quality control. I am one to inspect everything I buy and this shoe has obvious touch up paint on it & a scuff on the lining. This makes me think this shoe could possibly be a fake. For the shoe being over $100+ this is not ok to sell to people like this. Hibbett could of sent this shoe back to the manufacturer for damage or marked this shoe on clearance. Super upset that this shoe is now sold out otherwise I would exchange it for another pair but that's also an inconvenience on my end when quality control could have been done.

Sizing: first impression was "oops! They're to narrow, I should go half size up". But actually when I walk in them few minutes I changed my mind. Length wise they're perfect. And actually my foot lift out which is a bit annoying, so definitely it was a good decision go true to size. Half size down will be to tight. Shoes looks really nice, and this combo with green is a pure Perfection

I bought these shoes while they were on sale and I got them for casual wear. I'm usually a 9 in women's shoes and the size 8 in men fit me perfectly. They are very comfortable, however very narrow. Got so many compliments while wearing them but will definitely have to break them in a little so that they feel less stiff.
I got these two weeks ago as I've wanted them since they came out and finally got them in my size on asos. They are lovely in person and were comfortable overall. Only thing is they are a little sore at the big toe joint due to the thicker leather just before the big toe which causes some creasing. Hoping it will ease off. Just different to the 530s which I can wear all day right away but that is as the 550s are full leather.
Decent traction for court play. Shoe length is OK. Upper material is super stiff; it took several hours of use to break in. Not like modern mesh materials. Toe box is much narrower than normal sport shoes. If you’re on the border between standard and wide, this is one style to definitely get the wide size if available.
I had really high hopes for these sneakers. The color, style and look are great, but they are made so poorly. First, even when tied super tight, they slip off your feet in the back. I tried 2 different sizes (I am a 7.5-8 in women's, and ordered the 6 & 6.5 in kids) and both slipped. Second, the tongue inside was almost coming off the shoes, and in both pairs! It felt sticky, and that it would eventually come apart from the rest of the shoe! These are so hyped up and definitely not worth it. I was very surprised at the poor quality. Don't waste your money on these.
I have been wanting a pair of 550s for about a year now, but they're always sold out & I am not interested in paying resale prices. I was happy to see that they were in stock for Big Kid sizes a few weeks back and I ended up ordering a pair of the all white shoe. They shipped in a timely manner, but when I opened the box I noticed that they were a completely different color. I actually like them better than the color that I ordered. I ordered a size 6Y as I typically wear a 5.5 and I read elsewhere that it might be best to size up half a size if you have wide feet, they were right and the 6 fit just right. They are comfortable shoes although they do rub the back of my ankle a bit as i have been wearing ankle length socks.
These are nice looking shoes, the color way I was looking for. They definitely need to be broken in a bit and I suspect they will not be as comfortable as some of my other new balance but they are still good. My biggest complaint and what I want others to know is these are BB550 not the regular 550. The main difference I think is the toebox is/looks longer then the regular. I am keeping them because I can’t find the color way in the regular right now but it is something to know!

So I decided to pick up the all black shoe to use as my beaters. Since I'm a veterinarian technician, these shoes are absolutely perfect since you cant really see how dirty they really are until you clean them lol. However, my only issue with these shoes is the fact that there is sharp pieces of plastic poking out on the inside of the right shoe so it makes it a little unbearable to walk when I'm wearing regular socks. I bought mine in big kids size so I'm sure its because kids shoes are lower quality for whatever reason.
