Obviously if you're buying these it's for the style first. They delivered on that front. But I wanted to be able to go on my walks (trail, pavement) with them. I've been wearing them for a few weeks on walks and they're just plain heavy. No bounce, no cushion, and it's a clomp foot-strike. Sort of like a ski boot. So if you're hoping to wear these for long stretches of time, skip. If you want to wear them with cute jogger sets to run to the grocery store they're a big YES.

mfg quality seems high as i expect from all NB shoes... i really liked the colorway and the fashion forward but at size 14, the moonboot factor was just way too high.would recommend for someone who wears < 11 at most.
I bought a size 16 in these shoes and they fit very nice. They're a little bigger than what I'm used to in other shoes but had a lot of space in the toe area. My only complaint is that if you buy a big size it won't look exactly the same as it does online but other than that they're very comfortable and look great
Really nice update on a classic. Feels vintage with a modern twist. Awesome colorway (black/red/orange) that goes with almost anything. Super comfy too. Maybe slightly roomy in the toe box area, but not a big deal.

The neutral sole and pops of color make this an incredibly versatile piece. I'm in love with the way the olive accent contrasts with the orange highlights. I can wear this shoe with anything in my wardrobe! Please, more muted colorways like this!
Overall I like the 57/40 Lunar New Year but what's with New Balance sizing.I own the 996, 574 and this 57/40 and they are all sized different. I find it very confusing. The good thing is New Balance has an easy return/refund policy. But I would prefer buying the correct fit the first time. I exchanged these for 1/2 size smaller.I have to say New Balance makes very comfortable sneakers, after buying my first pair a few years ago I can't wear anything else.
