Extremely Comfortable and the spikes grip the greens amazingly. Since this purchase I have purchased 2 more pairs (one in each color). They are also waterproof and I must say after golfing in the rain a couple weeks ago… they did the job and did it well. My feet were dry, warm and comfortable through the whole game. Love love love these shoes. These spank the Nike 270G all day with its eyes closed. To me these are more on a Ecco shoe level in terms of comfort. Great buy.

I missed the cue in the online description that these are actually men’s sizes. I have a narrow female foot that’s just not shaped like a man’s foot. I also hated the way that the top edge from the heel to the tongue is raw and unfinished looking. It exposes an inner layer of thin foam and looks as if it would deteriorate quickly. These are the first NB shoes I have ever not liked, but they went back to Nordstrom’s. First NB stopped making the 10 1/2 Narrow shoe size that was best for me, and now they are trying to fit women into men’s shoes.

I've been wearing 574s exclusively for over a decade. Love the style and the comfort. I first purchased as a nice, casual sneaker for going out. After the first pair got its fair share of use and became less "fresh," it was transitioned to a workout set. Turns out, the shoes are also versatile enough to go through the reps (if your into a minimalist style training sneaker). The pattern for me now is new 574s for the street, old 574s for the gym. The shoes are daily wears and I'd say they have longevity. Although, I was slightly disappointed with the construction of my previously purchased pair, which became unglued at the outsole and midsole. That had never happened before. Fingers crossed it was a fluke!

This is a fantastic every day wear kind of shoe, light jogging, walking or just sitting around and looking great on my feet. A beautiful shoe with good construction and nice materials, the suede needs constant cleaning but worth the effort. The padding both underfoot and around the ankle and tongue is ample enough to make it a reasonably comfortable shoe. I am a size 12 wide so I bought the 13 and was very pleased with the fit. My one complaint is that the left shoe creased on the toe box right away, these things happen and at the end of the day no one really notices these kind of things anyway... If not for the instantaneous crease this would be a 5 star footwear experience. I ordered a pair of these from the website and couldn't be happier. They are lightweight, very comfortable and look very cool in my opinion(I got the blue and grey pair).The heel is sturdy so I can slide my feet in and out without the back collapsing, which is one of the main issues I had with my previous few pairs of shoes(from other companies).They fit as expected.It has only been a couple of weeks but they are holding up great so far. I might just keep buying these over and over again everytime I need a new pair of shoes.
The 574 Rugged shoes are a little heavier and stiffer than the Classic. Come in some wild color combinations that likely will appeal more to the younger folks than to the geriatric crowd. The fit is similar to the Classic. I like the Rugged model and now have three pairs that I wear around town and for yard work. They are comfortable and well made. If you are looking for a shoe with a thicker sole and a little more heft than the Classic then these are worth a look.
I ordered 2 of these trainers as love the look of them.I have lots of trainers all size 10 many different brands.These size 10 were so small they fit my mate who is a size 8.5 !!A real waiste of time waiting for them to be delivered then having to re pack them drive them to drop off point then wait for a refund.What a shame as trainers were nice. Got 2 pairs of a different make instead.My friend also Says when he got some he had to buy a size bigger than he usually buys.Strange as the leather trainers sizes are more correct.
I am typically a size 11 mens shoe size. However upon trying on the shoes once I received them, they were a tad small and felt tight and rather uncomfortable. I now need to make a return, so I will do it in store at your Pasadena CA location. It really would have been nice if they had fit, but I suppose it depends on the manufacturer when it comes to shoe size, and makes one learn a lesson to always try before you buy. I am hoping that my in store experience will allow me to find what I need, so I can be done with this endeavor. This purchase really turned out to be more of an inconvenience than anything to be honest. Not that it's anyones fault. But still none the less, irritating. Thank you and see you in store very soon!
In searching for a certain pair of shoes, I found them online at Orleans Shoe Company. After a quick Google search, I learned they are a very reputable business, and decided to make a purchase. They shipped them out extremely quickly, and the shoes were perfect when they arrived. I've worn New Balance my whole life, and don't think there's another more casual or comfortable shoe out there. I highly recommend Orleans Shoe Company, and highly recommend New Balance 574's!I will add, that I wear 10.5 in Nike, but an 11 in New Balance.
This is my first pair of new balance sneakers. It was very difficult to judge what size to get based on reviews. I’m typically a women’s size 9 or 9.5 and I went with 9.5. My initial impression was that they were way too big as my feet were slipping out of them. Actually, though, the length seems right - they just run wide in the back/heel. I laced them more tightly and it seems like that will help keep them from slipping. I hope so because the style is just what I was looking for!
