I bought this shoe based on how it looked and the colors. I'm usually a 574 wearer, but I had been wanting to try a different model for quite awhile now. And this is the shoe model that jumped out to me. All I can say I think found my new favorite model from New Balance! Super comfortable and the colors are amazing in person. If you're itching to try something new I highly recommend the 580's, you will not be disappointed!

Got my first pair of new balances (550) and loved them so I got these for everyday use, they are the best. They have a mesh toe so you don't have to worry about creasing, super comfortable and stylish. Generally true to size but if anything they run slightly large, perfect for wide feet. I still recommend getting your normal size, don't size up. NB if you're reading this please make 580s in brown.

Love the color, love the details, love the hairy suede. Very comfortable shoe. Normally a 12.5 in most brands but can get away with 12s in a lot of New Balance (thank god, didn't come in a half size after 12). Palace and New Balance crushed this one. Can't see what you do next. Happy birthday to me. Bought a vintage Patagonia fleece in same colors just to set it off. I have a feeling I'll be wearing them all the time.
I really like how this sneaker looks. It has a unique style to it. I especially like the pocket it includes. They are very comfortable to walk in. I can spend all day in them without feeling any pain. These are a great pair to have in anybody collection.

Got some 580s. Waited two weeks. Got the shoes. QC issues everywhere. Grey paint transfer all over yellow midsole. Support shank scratched and glue stains. Return to local outlet. They agreed 100%
I thought these shoes were pretty great looking online, but in hand they exceeded my expectations. The material has a great texture to it and the quality is noticeably next level. I got in another pair of sneakers the same day and was pretty bummed to see how lacking in quality the other pair was next to these. Props to these though.The secret stash pockets on the tongue are also a very cool bonus feature. I'm impressed and glad to drop the $ on these.

These are SO comfortable and I get soooo many compliments. I wear them as everyday white sneakers and they are the perfect amount of chunky without being too big. And the green color way is so pretty
