I have foot problems which means I have to wear orthopedic inserts and only wear shoes that are lightweight and leave room for my toes to spread out. The 580's are my tried and true versatile sneaker and luckily they come in so many different colours! Definitely recommend
As a flat footed person, these sneakers are ideal for casual walking. New Balance sizing can be confusing. My size is 8.5 and 9. The 580s are a little tight, maybe I need to break them in or use even thinner socks. I got the 550s in size 9 because 8.5 was too tight. I couldn't even walk without my foot slipping out. So, I can't wear these. The 9060s in size 9 are a tad big and I prefer the fit of 8.5. My 327s are in a size 9 and they fit! All of these NBs rub the back of my foot. I highly recommend ankle socks that protect that area. If you can, please try these sneakers in person. I ordered from ASOS because these sneakers were sold out on New Balance's website where I typically order.
