The New Balance 990v2 Kithstrike Rose was released as a limited series through the Kithstrike program in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the original 990s. This model features a reflective "N" logo on the sides and a monochromatic peach on the upper in fine nubuck, and suede. Additionally, the shoes have "USA" stitched on the heel to indicate where the shoe was made. Its midsole and laces have white hues breaking the sneaker's monotony. A dual cushioning design with Abzorb in Encap in the heel and forefoot complete the appearance. The New Balance 990v2 Kithstrike Rose was released on 8th April 2020 and retailed at the price of $220.
