The model of the shoe speaks for itself. Now the colorway is well executed. Different hues of green with minimal hits of that purple & and a black outsole; great combination of colors. Granted, it's not your traditional colors; specially for New Balance, but something different is always good.

I have many pairs of 990v3's...lots of blacks, greys, blues, whites, etc. Finally, there are some offerings in greens, browns, tans and so forth. These 990v3's are interesting and different. I wear them as lifestyle shoes primarily and really enjoy them. They are typical high quality, fit to size, and are comfortable like all their predecessors. I'm still not wild about the color of the signature "N" but maybe it will grow on me with time.

Shoe liner is same color as the rest of the shoe. Pale green. Told f off,when called out on obvi false advert. Pics need to be proper with error fixed. Very hesitant to buy shoes here now.

These would have been perfect if not for some slight glue stain on the back midsole of my right pair. It's on the midsole, so it's not so bad.Another disappointment was the toebox of the right pair. It is slightly off center.
Use at the gym. Switch off with other similar shoes every few days. Fit great, look good. The way you advertise them almost discouraged me from ordering. If I hadn't had other USA shoes I would not have ordered.
These look great, fit great, and feel great right out of the box! I'll probably use these principally for day hikes and even some trekking as they're ideal for this and built like tanks for your feet. They can easily double as casual shoes as they're really great-looking with jeans. Made in the USA-Really love these!
I didn't like the color way originally but I took a chance and purchased the shoe. I've gotta say, in-hand they're gorgeous and one of my favorite pick ups of the year. Everything is placed well and the colors just go well together. Comes with additional laces in green which look great in the shoe of you want a bit of contrast. The colors work whether your style is simple or more complex. I do not regret this purchase at all.
The 990 V1 and v2 have a slightly better look than the v3 but the v3 is definitely a lot more comfy. The green colorway makes these shoes a go to for many outfits. I've walked many miles in these and no complaints yet. I never get blisters with New Balance shoes and the 990v3 is no exception.
Outdoor walks, work.This my second in the 990 series. I was pleased with the longevity on my first pair. I am hard on shoes. This one I do feel is well build but the front shoe lip came up some after day 5. It might be nothing or it might be the starting of a just an OK glue job
Look so much better in person. Love them. In pictures they kind of look brownish but no. Olive indeed. And a really nice shade. High quality materials. And the canvas is actually very nice as well
