Great shoes, great look and color. These are not too soft or too hard, just perfect and perfectly made. you feel the hand-made quality. I guess it will get better after breaking in but, it really does not to be worn to be comfortable, it is comfortable right away.

Great old school shoe that still stands with today's tech
Nice materials not the quality of construction I would expect at this price. Several glue stains around the shoe in visible areas. This is my second pair of UK 990s and my previous purchase a few years back was much better.
Wasn't particularly in love with them, like the other styles I own. The colorway wasn't really my style either, so I returned them.
All of my purchases of new balance shoes are great . especially the lunar new year of the dragon pair in green ( which sold out immediately ; glad I got a pair ) .. most comfortable shoe I own. The shoe pictured above is great looking as it it comfortable .. why is it the shoes made in UK are more comfortable and have better styling than those made in USA?
Love the wearable, mature colorway & comfort is top notch! The materials used are also high quality. Definitely recommend any of the 991v2's.
Fantastic color way with impeccable fit and finish. While the price is a bit high, it’s met my expectations concerning comfort, build quality, and style.As a new NB fan, I’m hoping that the 992 is on the horizon as I’ve heard nothing but great things.
The shoe color in picture different from the real one little bit but i like it and it's very comfortable for me
