Probably not like this on all pairs since others say they are very comfortable. On my pair the area around the toes has hard raised areas near the end that dig into the bottom of my foot and hurt. They weren't noticeable at first but now that the insole has compressed around the raised areas they are unwearable. I'm going to take them to a cobbler to see if they can be fixed somehow.Incredible looking shoes but the internal footbed is bad at least on my pair.

Look out, New Balance is winning big! I reviewed numerous You-Tube vids on this shoe prior to making this purchase.The in hand and on feet looks did not disappoint.This shoe offers comfort, style, good materials, and solid craftmanship. The shoe can be worn with different looks from sporty to semi-casual.Simply a solid all around shoe that goes in the win column.
The Qc on my pair was horrible. The USA on the back of one shoe was crooked and off centered. The suede was also in very poor condition in 3 spots. I didn't even try these on. I'll be returning them to my New Balance store.
I ordered these because I simply don't own any American made shoes and it definitely unlike and shoe I've had! Ive owned European shoes, plenty of Chinese shoes but neither come close to the exceptional craftsmanship of this shoe. Upon first opening the box I Immediately recognized that and how different this was from a usual shoe. Its incredibly comfortable and fits great. This was my first New Balance and I plan to get more!
Made in the U.S.A. is important to me. Ilike the style, color and fit of my new shoes. This is my second pair of 992s . I also enjoy that I can get different widths.
Clean & sleek 992's for the fall/winter seasoms. The quality is impeccable as always and the comfort is next level. Rock these 992's for that low key heat that turns heads. If ya know, ya know. . .
The color way is one of my favorites now. Very comfy. The achilles notch area has the traditional problem of breaking/collapsing too easily for those of us who want to slip on the shoes without retying them every time.
Hibbett uses a company called Radial to do there collecting of payments and some how they were able to charge more money then the check out price. Whats really scary is that I paid using my pay-pal account. They actually took 12 dollars more out of my CHECKING ACCOUNT without ever getting my permission to do so! How they did this when I went through pay pal supposedly a safe way to pay online where no one but pay pal has you info is a crime.
