This latest release of 990v1's is attractive and a really nice lifestyle shoe. I wouldn't recommend them for running a marathon! However, I love wearing all my retro v1's. These are well made, very lightweight, and comfortable. Still don't care for the thin flimsy tongue but that is part of their history. If you logged a lot of miles in the 1980's like I did, you will really enjoy these shoes
love these shoes, the color is great and feel like they go with almost anything. Will say, I feel like they run on the slightly smaller side, I can not wear thick socks with these shoes
Great shoes. It's my second pair of made in USA after using my previous ones for almost 4 years.The materials and lining are nice quality. The inner soles are plushy as expected from NB.My biggest gripe is the leather piece that extends at the back toward your ankles.It digs into your ankles causing chaffing. Strange design choice considering the cheaper models don't have this issue.Other than that I'd recommend them but try them first.
There's no replacement for quality. You cannot beat made in America/England. From 997s to 998s, new balance, always gets it right!
Nice shoes but not being able to exchange them if they don't fit is ridiculous. NB says they're "limited edition" but 3 weeks after the release date every size is still available....
Shoe looks good and material matches the description. However, the left and right shoes fit differently, left is good to go, right is too tight and slightly shorter, which forces the tongue stitching to rub on the top of my foot. The "Cannot Return" blends into the description, my mistake for not reading it more closely, they should probably change the font color.
These shoes are comfortable and are seeming to be durable. The made in the USA pride is evident. New Balance definitely walks the walk with American pride. Styling is great with peers inquiring how to find great American shoes. Thanks for offering, I'll take another!
