I purchased this XC 72 in black . Because they are unisex I got size 7 men which is a 8.5 women size. I always buy my sneakers in 8.5 . This time I can say that this particular model runs big. I returned it and purchased a 6.5 and a 6. Will see which one fits the best. The shoe has a good structure , is robust and fashionable at the same time with a nice combination of suede leather and rubber . Nevertheless the retro design is one that I like the most.

Nice shoes but I definitely don't like the recycled materials. Makes them look and feel cheap! I have another pair that is not recycled and that are on point! Overall, futuristic, retro drip! Next best thing to the old school turf shoes made by other companies back in the day!

I received my XC-72 and they look great! I love how 50% of the shoe is made of recycle material, but still looks and feels nice. The shoes are light and comfortable.My only issue is that the rear sole is wide. I knew this upon buying the shoe, but in terms of practicality you may find yourself stepping on the flare on the rear sole or scraping it walking down stairs. They are susceptible to getting dirty easier and I can see creases after my first time wearing them.Overall, happy with the purchase, but will be watching how these shoes wear down.

I'm an avid sneaker enthusiast. These are amazing. They are a very versatile shoe; easy to dress up for a date, and comfortable enough for daily long walks. These are true to size for me and still feel comfortable with a thicker sock like Bombas. I highly recommend.
I loved them on the website. I love them even more in person!! The unique look of this shoe gets a lot of attention. Even my husband was impressed! Shipping was quick and the shoes came with white and blue laces. I ordered a women's size 6 and they are true to size. They were comfortable right out the box. My last pair of New Balance were used for work and home and lasted for years. I'm hoping these last just as long! Very happy customer!!
These trainers are beyond comfortable and they go with anything because of the colour. I suffer with bad feet and when I wear them I feel like I’m walking on clouds. Love, love XC72 these trainers. I purchased another to add to my collection
Love this shoe! I personally think they run big. I wear a 8 men which is a 9.5 women's. I could've bought a 7.5 men's. I have tons of room in the toe. I work in the ICU and on my feet for 8-12 hrs. After about 6 hours my feet started to ache. I will still buy other colors, I just know they're not the shoe for me to work in. Will definitely buy other colors for the summer!
I purchased the shoe to see how it would perform for work but didn't get the chance to do that as they sent a men's size shoe and I dislike how it looked on my foot. The shoe itself is my type of tennis shoe as it looks unique. I wore the shoes a couple of times and I wouldn't say they are uncomfortable but it wasn't the most comfortable. I would have liked to experienced a woman's size shoe that I ordered because I'm sure a man's/woman's shoe is made different.
I usually wear a 9.5, or a 10 in some shoes. Went up to 10.5 in these since the toe box is so narrow, and they fit great. Unfortunately they showed up with scuffs on the back heel (returned the first pair for this, second pair same issues), and the right shoe has a different cut in the rubber of the side of the tread from the left, making a gap where you can see the inner foam instead of the outer layer of the rubber part of the shoe. That polyester strip in the middle of the shoe is never even between the two shoes, and they always have a wrinkle, or color stain on one. You can see glue in multiple spots on the outside of the shoe. They look nothing like the pictures. They did not have enough fabric to cover the entire shoe tongue? they really always run out of the made in the usa shoes in womens sizes and these got so great of reviews I ordered two. Both had the exposed foam in the tongue of the shoe and both were too big because I require a women' 6.5 which ...no to this for that...also no arch support. Why do these get such good reviews I can't even understand it. I bought two of these and tried them both on hoping one would work and neither did. Opposite of integrity no emails for new balance exist on this website. Also I tried to find emails on the web and all the emails I could find for the new balance company were bounce back to me because they don't function. You also can't track a return on their website like the voicemail says...you can on'y track an order or get a refund label. It seems like they do not care about their customers and their quality has really went down. This used to be a good company. I remember going to a shoe store and getting my very first pair of new balance shoes when I was like 13. Those were great shoes back then....totally a different situation now. Only one kind they have is of any value to me and it is always sold out and those are the made in the usa ones. I have no idea how to get my refund been on hold for an eternity. I loathe this. Guess I will have to um....dispute it with PayPal.
