These shoes are some of the best that I have had the pleasure of wearing in a while. I wanted to wait to see how they held up for many different uses in my life. I am training for a 5k that is coming up this weekend, and they have been so nice to wear; they are light enough that I don't feel the extra weight but also sturdy enough to support my very flat feet. I have also tested these on several runs now and they're a gift from the shoe gods. I highly recommend trying them out, especially if you ever feel like you're running on concrete when you wear shoes. These hit every mark for me.

Gosh, I am so pleased with these! They are adorable, first of all, and I feel like the brown/tan accent on the heel really makes it to where you can wear them with anything - not just if you happen to be wearing blue that day!They are also very comfortable. I had a complete tear of my PF in 2019, so finding something with decent arch support is a must for me now, and I have another pair of NB that have worked so figured I'd give these a go. Glad I did!As for the sizing, I am a 9.5 in my L after my injury, 8.5 in my R - ordered up a bit after reading the reviews and got a size 10. They fit great honestly. The outer design on the All Black version has stylish details reimiscient of stingray.SIMILARITIES: Same positive wide footbed in wide size that gives the toes plenty of wiggle room. Same negative lightweight lining that annoyingly breaks down from friction around the collar and heal base after about 6 months of wear 3x per week. Still lightweight with nice breathable fabric upper.SHORTCOMINGS: Indention and curvature under heal to better support shape of foot only ends up putting more pressure on the sides of a wide heal, giving a less cushioning feel there. Outer heal stabilzer seems to extend out further behind and arround the shoe than it's predecessor, resulting in bulkier edges and more trip-up potential. Because footbed cushion has more give overall, even though it's more shock absorbant and less flexible than V2, it still has less supportive structure than V1.CONCLUSION: It's a great 4-star shoe despite some shortcomings. My preference was the V1 minus the little "padded bricks" in the collar. If only V1 could be redone in All Black and Brown/Tan versions with improved lining durability. V1 was near perfect shoe for wide feet on concete, but this'll do.
