We went to the new Nordstrom Rack in Yakima ;) and it was so much fun! Displayed even better than those on the Wet Side (Seattle). The shoe selection, however wasn’t as good. More options would be great! Otherwise, it was really organized and I did find a pair of tennis shoes (was looking for boots). The reason I come here is that the cashier was extraordinary. Jose had pronouns on his apron and I noticed him representing human rights. I then complemented his adorable BLM pin. He literally offered it to me. I was so honored that he shared it with this white woman and will treasure it. Fantastic job hiring him! Keep him and give him a raise, he deserves it ;) ! We love Nordstrom Rack!

This pair was a Treat!!During last two years it was frustratingly hard to buy a quality fitting and performing NB shoes (sadly...). But this pair was a god-sent shoes! I run on the roads, and cushioning is extremely important. So is light weight and overall comfort. And these shoes got it all! Love it. True to size, true to width, true to description on the web.

Since I’ve had surgery on my foot, I am limited in the kind of shoes that I can wear. I normally buy the 1080s, but I wanted to try something else and the Arishi v4 did not disappoint. I normally get extra wide, but the Arishi v4 don’t come in that width, so I sized up a half size and got the wide. I am so glad they’re comfortable. I wish New Balance offered more color ways in the wider widths however for ALL of their shoes. My choices are very limited, which is unfortunate because the shoes are so comfortable.

I wanted a cute black pair of comfortable tennis shoes with arch support. Thought in reading other reviews and info that they had support but I must have mis read the info . I prefer to purchase in a store to check for arch support but haven’t been able to find something I like in store so I tried ordering online . They are very cute shoes and feel cushiony but there is no arch support and the lining is just a thin lining that leaves my feet aching after wearing for few hours . Looking for an arch support insert which hoping will help . Myself I don’t plan purchasing again .
I am always the person on family trips who complains about my feet hurting and has to sit all the time. I've come back from vacations and thrown out sneakers (Nike, Adidas, all kinds). I decided to try New Balance Arishi's, and they have made it through first vaca with no complaints! Like walking on clouds with a nice sized toe box. The only thing I'd change (besides being fearful they have stopped making them... could only find online and not in stores) is the color... Would love a white white, not a white-gray.
When I first purchased these, I was expecting them to be more white/cream/gray but they came and are more of a light baby blue. I still really enjoy them and have worn them several times since purchasing. They are very comfortable for walking which is what I purchased them for. I would recommend this shoe, but be aware that the coloring might be misleading. I ordered an 8.5 which my usual size and they fit great.
The shoe itself is very comfortable and light. I can wear them for hours with no pain. The issue for me is the cheap shoe laces. They're made of synthetic fiber and I feel like I'm going to snap them whenever I tie my shoes. Not only that, but they are constantly coming untied when I'm out walking, but when ever I come home and want to untie them, they tangle themselves into a tight knot that takes minutes to unravel. The shoes are great, but if you buy them, do yourself a favor and immediately replace the laces with some better quality ones. Or better yet, New Balance, do some R & D into shoelaces that aren't so awful.
I walk a lot. My previous shoes were the Roav New Balance and I loved them but unfortunately they wore out quickly on the bottoms. I decided to try these as they looked like the sole is a little more substantial and won’t wear out as fast. Made my feet hurt after one two mile walk. I tried to give them another chance, but just got worse. Poor arch support, especially compared to the Roav the insoles of these are completely flat. Rubbed the back of my ankle raw, even through socks. Ran small and narrow and I have narrow feet. Had to return.
I bought my usual shoe size that fit for most brands, but they were at least a full size too small. I'm honestly glad they were too small because even if my toes weren't jammed into the front I could feel how thin the insoles were and how uncomfortable they would be for my job where I'm constantly standing for 8-10 hours. Three stars may be generous for these cheap shoes, but its hard to be too harsh when I wasn't able to fully test them. Buy if you don't have foot pain, otherwise i suggests investing in shoes that will actually feel good.
Do not like the new toe reinforcement! The cardboard like reinforcement that they have built in over your toes is AWFUL! I've worn this same tennis shoe for over 5 years and I am heart broken with this change. I have knee issues and love the Fresh Foam Arishi, but I am afraid I'm going to have to go back to the drawing board if they don't take this out. It rubs on your toe and toe nails and no I don't have dragon toe nails, they are nicely manicured and short and it still bothers me. Please take it OUT!
